Search Bed and Breakfast in South Jersey

"I was excited to open up my curtains in my room only to open it and find I had a view of the inside of the ventilation area there was pipes and all I felt like anyone could look through my window whenever if they had gone into that area "

"I was able to check in early. The first room I was assigned was filthy and run down. Dust everywhere, excrement stains all over the side and back of toilet, rust and mildew in the tub, paint falling off the ceiling, stains on the sheets and walls, and hair everywhere. I went downstairs and noted the issue and was given another room. The new room was one 1.5 steps above the other on the cleanliness scale. Luckily i brought gloves, lysol wipes, and trash bags (they dont give you trash bags). I spent about 30mins making the room livable between inspecting the sheets to make sure they werent dirty (clean sheets this time and mattress covers) and cleaning the surface areas and bathroom. The beds are firm and pillows are lousy. I had to pile all 4 pillows together just to get any kind of next support. They gave me a credit for “The Art Bar” which we used for breakfast. The staff at the bar seemed like they were exhausted and ready to end the work day (it was 10am). We ordered breakfast sandwiches when we received them, they were burnt to a crisp with no flavor. There are 4 elevators but each morning it took about 10mins to get to the lobby bc they barely worked. Front desk staff was nice but overall, this hotel sucked. I will never ever stay at another Sonesta. Shut this raggedy place down and start over…"

"The lobby was under construction which was a surprise. The heat was broken in one of our two rooms but the helpful staff sent a fan and comped the parking. "

"Great hotel but do not like the $28 "activity fee" and did not see any activities which this fee would cover. Breakfast was so slow it was not possible to order on the menu. I cant always eat so much as to need a buffet."

"We had adjoining rooms which was great - we had an ocean view (nice bonus) The rooms were pricey ($$$$) and for what we paid there was not a single clock to be found between the two rooms, there was no coffee maker in the rooms (very unusual) and there was no microwave either. That's odd since the Showboat is geared toward families. The rooms were a bit outdated."

"Great location for trip to Philly focused on history. Had lots of maps and brochures which was helpful. Restaurant was good for breakfast, but it is a sit down restaurant so not super quick"
