"I really enjoyed my stay at the Ashford International Hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the facilities were excellent. The hotel was very clean throughout, which made the stay even more comfortable. I especially loved relaxing in the foyer — it created such a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and I would definitely stay there again.!"

"An absolutely idyllic cottage in a quiet village, with plenty to do nearby. The photos don’t quite do justice to how lovely the house itself is, nor the garden. We had a wonderful stay, with absolutely everything we could have needed. Chris was a wonderful host, immediately on hand for any queries. We couldn’t have asked for more. The village is small and peaceful, with a well-stocked small shop and a lovely coffee shop. Anything bigger that’s needed is only 10 minutes away in Tenterden, as are both Gusbourne and Chapel Down."
Chequer Tree Oast - Stunning Converted Oast House between Ashford and Tenterden

"What a fantastic property! For those that don't know, an Oast House is a traditional farm building used to dry hops. Hop growing used to be huge in Kent, but now most Oast Houses have been converted into residential properties. Chequer Tree Oast is an immaculate property in a fantastic location. Whilst rural, the historic market town of Tenterden is only 10 minutes away. There are also many small villages nearby, as well as the larger towns of Ashford (15 mins), it also makes a great base to explore Canterbury, Rye, Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone, Dover (amongst others), the countryside of the Weald & South Coast and is a short drive to train stations with fast access to London. If you fancy close by, there is an excellent pub/restaurant (the Pig & Sty) a 5-minute walk away, as well as walking paths in the countryside etc. The hosts are super-friendly and live in a cottage next door. My family & I loved our stay at the Oast and can't wait to come back. Highly recommended!!!!"
