"A lovely place to stay and very well equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay- a home from home. The Oast is in a quaint and quiet village and is very picturesque. We were a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids plus a dog, and we enjoyed local walks and ahort drives away to neighbouring towns, villages and the coast. "

"A quirky but delightful inn, fully justifying the excellent reviews. Charming and welcoming staff, good food, and a generally warm atmosphere. We had one of the rooms, Honeychild, on the first floor - unique certainly but access up the staircase challenging for anyone with limited mobility or with bulky luggage. Highly recommended."

"Beautiful cottage. All the old original features but very comfortable. You do have to watch your head on low beams and be very careful on the stairs but there are warnings everywhere (didn't stop my husband banging his head though!). Owners were very welcoming and helpful."

"Beautiful, clean home with excellent modern conveniences and almost everything we could possibly need! Upstairs bed was more comfortable than downstairs one. Kitchen well equipped for cooking. Could have done with some washcloths, Kleenex, and maybe some laundry detergent but we managed to get those items in Tenterden so not a big deal. Loved being able to walk into town for breakfasts at The Old Post Office, as well as basic grocery supplies from the small shop and butcher. Pubs in village were OK but kitchens were closed so not a lot of immediate dining options. That said, Ashford, Tenterden and surrounding areas were easily accessible by car with great shops and restaurants and we were even able to get delivery from UberEats when we didn’t want to drive anywhere.Overall a fantastic stay in nearly every way."
