"Dear ChrisFrom the moment we walked in we felt at home. Your cottage was the perfect place to relax and for family and friends to pop by and catch up. All the generous touches, a welcome basket and milk in the fridge were much appreciated along with coffee and tea! The beds were comfortable and bathrooms spotless. We enjoyed having a pint or two of our favorite beer, Fullers London Pride, at The Six Bells and interacting with the friendly locals. The weather was kind to us, so we were able to go and enjoy the steam railway from Tenterden to Bodiam Castle and also Hever Castle on the way to the airport. Your recommendations of The White Lion and The Ferry Inn were spot on, especially The Ferry Inn - the food and service there were top notch.Thank you again for providing such a fabulous home from home….almost a shame the weather was so good…..otherwise we would have stayed in and read our way through your library of great books Very best wishesLiz and MarkSeattle, WA"

"Absolutely magical! We were blessed with the most amazing skies during our stay and had the most wonderful time. The Romney was a dream. A cosy and beautiful shepherds hut with everything included to make our visit one to remember. The beds were comfy and included gorgeous wool throw blankets, cushions and hot water bottle. There were fairy lights and the little kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a delicious cooked breakfast and bbq feast. The cookies, marshmallows, tea, coffee and milk were a lovely touch. The real magic was being sat outside around the fire pit cooking our dinner and watching the sunset. Equally, the outdoor bath was a real luxury combined with the sumptuous toiletries and bath robes. We came with our sons who are 7 and 2 and they both had the time of their lives. I loved that we had the field all to ourselves apart from the odd visiting chicken. The location is ideal for exploring the local area; we had a fantastic time wandering the cobbled streets of Rye and then collecting pebbles at Dungeness. Highly recommend and fully intend to return again in the future."

"Twelve of us had a lovely stay at Nares House. Everything was provided for our stay. The bedrooms were large and most of them had lovely views over the gardens. The location was very peaceful and the gardens were a great addition. The children had a great time chasing each other up and down the two staircases. It was a bonus that we could all sit comfortably round the table in the dining room. We had a great day out at Rye and a lovely meal out at The Globe Inn Mash in Rye. On Sunday we spent the day at Dymchurch and had great fish and chips at Beach 48."

Hilfreich wäre noch ein Sonnenschirm. Die Ausstattung der Barn ist prima, allerdings könnten in der Küche ein paar Tassen und Teller mehr von Vorteil sein. Ein großes Lob gebührt den Vermietern, Sally und Robin!
