Wir hatten 2 Nächte vom 06.01.-08.01. für 2 Erwachsene und einer 17-Jährigen mit Halbpension in diesem Hotel gebucht. Das Hotel war für diese Jahreszeit gut gebucht, trotzdem wurde unser Anliegen wegen der Zimmergröße umgehend, und viel besser als wir erwarten konnten, von Frau Fitterling gelöst. Two minutes from the old town, but still far enough to avoid all the noise. Extremely friendly staff, and great breakfast, nice freshly-made eggs and superb pastry. The room was not huge, but very well organised, clean, and a huge comfy bed. Would definitely come back. Christmas markets are less than 10 min away. On top of everything, we had the Basel card which gave us fee public transport, and a complimentary drink every night. What else does someone need?

Great quirky historic hotel in the old town of Basel. The room I had was rather small, but well appointed and with nice artwork walls. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was great. As with all Basel hotels the free public transport ticket provided was very convenient. Maybe the only real negative is that there is no lift (was not an issue for me but may be for others).

Great customer service when we encountered an issue with lunch that was dealt with promptly and really elevated our experience.
