"Very comfortable stay. Rooms are not massive, but well thought out. Nice big shower, loved the magnifying mirror which is something I normally always miss when staying in hotels. Location superb - close to the docks, bars and restaurants. Nice touch of snacks (crisps/cookies) in the room on arrival. If I had to find something I would change - it's only the very strong perfume in the lobby."

"Firstly i must praise Tristan on reception. Helpful, sorted a problem out for me instantly, and with a smile. Imperial is my favourite place, however i have to mention the public toilets downstairs were a real mess, and our evening meal was disappointing. Lets say not as described and vegetables missing. It will not deter me from returning but it did tarnish our stay a little. Every member of staff amazing apart from Chef."

"I can’t think of anything that I didn’t dislike , room was very clean breakfast was fresh and filling. The staff on reception was excellent and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend The Delta and I would stay there again "

"A tired icon. Full of history, with the entrance and ballroom jewels to behold. The bar is smart and well priced too. However my room - standard double - was very poor. Chipped basin, exposed pipes, holes in the wall, broken loo seat, ceiling cracks, and faded mismatching paint on the walls. Staff were friendly but towels weren’t replaced, and they failed to bring the pillow I requested. They don’t clean rooms supposedly to be sustainable but it feels like it’s just to cut corners and save pennies. Well priced for the city but I couldn’t say I’d recommend due to the condition of the room."
