"Overall, this hotel is pretty cool! Great art concept, super friendly staff, great location. Quick walk to the historic area of Kyoto and to shopping and bars. Our carpet in our room was dirty, as was the carpet in the hallway, but nothing spot treatments cant get rid of. Great amenities, like slippers, robes, and toothbrushes. Only major issue we gound was the pillows...they were super uncomfortable and rock hard. Would consider this place again, shpuld we visit Kyoto again! "

"We had difficulty finding the hotel. We hired a cab and he had a hard time finding the hotel. The cab circled the area three times. That was how we found out how near it was to the train station.
