Spacious villa with full privacy & nature views!

"Lovely house perched on top of a hill, this remote location was clean and spacious and offered breathtaking sunset views!The owner was there to greet us upon arrival to give us a brief walk through and provide a few recommendations.If you are looking to be on the outskirts of a major city centre like Chania, Heraklion, or Rethymno, this is a nice place to stay. It has a lovely pool (heated at extra cost) and an outdoor BBQ/lounge area ideal for end of June, July and August weather. The beds were extremely comfortable! The kitchen has some of the basic essentials if you don’t want to go out for dinner or prefer home cooked meals but I strongly encourage anyone staying there to try Alekos Taverna in Armenoi — Joseph, the owner and the chef was wonderful! Unfortunately, the wifi and TV weren’t working most times due to some upgrades being done in the area at the time we were there so we had to use our data and couldn’t watch TV to wind down after a busy day. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay at Villa Kleathi."

"The area is quiet, and both the house and grounds are completely private. The sea view, paired with the sound of the waves, is sensational! The house is furnished very cozily, with lovely accessories. The kitchen and bathroom are stocked with everything you might need—truly excellent! As a warm welcome, there was water, juice, and a bottle of wine in the fridge—a very nice gesture! The only thing we missed was a mikrowave - but it's far away from an improvemet point-) Everything fine, we felt absolutely well."

"As a family, we have spent our vacations in many vacation homes, and our stay at Villa Manouski was by far one of the best. Rarely have we had such a courteous, helpful, and friendly host (and probably the best lemon cake in Crete). The house and pool were exactly as pictured online, and everything was very well maintained and clean. We felt so comfortable that we would come back anytime!"

"Sea view room above a restaurant owned by a beautiful family who showed the best hospitality ever. We arrived late and were still offered dinner, there was everything we needed in the room inclusive of coffee machine and coffee, waters and utensils, air conditioning a huge bonus, freshly clean sheets, a drying rack for putting our wet bathing suits on our private balcony, a table and two chairs to move out there as well. Sun blocking curtains, a mosquito net to the sliding door so we could wake up with the sunrise, in the post peaceful, quiet area at the foot of the canyon. A two minute walk to the beachfront where you can rent umbrellas and lounge, and also located is the base of the small hiking trail to get to the palm forest. But it was all made perfect by the kindness of the most wonderful staff. Many thanks and we will be coming back every year! (freddo espresso a must!) and wifi included--Thank you Dionyssos Rooms!"

"Wonderful stay. The host was great. Quick to reply to messages and very knowledgeable about the area. The house was great. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool isn’t massive but was plenty big enough to cool down and the children loved playing in it. The area is stunning. Amazing views and a number of great beaches within a short drive. We were treated to a hot mousaka on our arrival and the kitchen was brilliantly stocked with wine and treats and home made cheese. On one of the days we got a tour of the farm and a the kids got to ride a horse. We felt very looked after. Brilliant place if your looking for a quite stay in the awe inspiring Crete mountains. "

"We had a superb holiday. The villa is lovely with spacious comfortable rooms and courtyard, total privacy and a great pool. The photographs don’t do it full justice. There are stunning views across the countryside towards the mountains. Located in a small quiet village within walking distance to the shops, bakery and tavernas of Amenio.Everyone was so friendly, and Dimitri and Maria made us very welcome and looked after us so well. Thank you."
