Stayed in a snug double which was snug but had everything needed. Staff helped by suggesting a bus tour which was excellent. Smart tv in room was fab.

The penthouse suite was amazing. The night we arrived, I went out onto the private balcony and just watched the sun set on the city while listening to bag pipes play from somewhere below. It was magical! The suite is laid out well and was perfect for our family of three, but be aware there are stairs throughout, including to the bathrooms. One of the couches in the living room contains a pull-out sofa, and there is a door you can shut to the living room, giving extra privacy for anyone staying in the living room. The bathrooms were spotless and the jetted tub and sauna & shower combo performed flawlessly. I think my *only* complaint on the bathroom is that the tub water never got really hot. And while everything was clean, but the walls were ready for a repaint (you could see countless marks and dings from luggage) and the carpets are due for a deep cleaning. The staff were all friendly and very helpful, and they kept fresh hot cocoa near the front desk. Anything we needed, they were happy to help with. The location of the hotel is incredibly convenient, being literally across the street from Waverly station. We took a train to another city one morning, and being so close to the train station saved us a lot of time. The food was probably the only real letdown. What we had at the hotel/cafe was not bad, but was just okay. Given the location and the amazing restaurants nearby, you have better choices within walking distance.

Great location. Small double room was great, clean, big TV, comfy bed so perfect for a night or two.

Could not pick fault, with stay,staff excellent and service. Only observation vegetarian menu a bit sparse Will be back.

The room and amenities and view and building and staff were all lovely. Very luxurious feeling hotel. Breakfast was delicious and there were plenty vegetarian options. The only downside is there's no lift/elevator and 47 plus stairs is a bit much for me but if you have no mobility issues 100 out of 10 would definitely recommend
