Looks like a brand new building, room was clean, great size, very welcoming staff, friendly and helpful! The indoor pool was nice and refreshing after a long hot summer day around Split. The breakfast buffet was always full of delicious food to get your day started!

Comfortable but a little out of the way

Hotel is a 30 min walk from the old town. Its clean, quiet and comfortable. There is not a lot in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

Extremely courteous and helpful staff with very good English. Euro modern property with medium-large rooms. Breakfast had numerous options, and had a little variety from day to day. The massage therapist was excellent, truly an excellent massage.

The pictures are much better than the rooms actually are. Our room smelled of mold and the hotel itself is next to an abandoned factory. Would not recommend for the price paid.

The hotel is next to an abandoned factory at a corner below the road next to it. Do not expect any view, but it is walkable to a shopping mall.

Hotel Mondo is a clean functional modern hotel with a large dining hall and indoor swimming pool and a gym next door, a supermarket is also located very near the site which came in handy for every day items I needed. The staff we're helpful and engaging & friendly. Although the hotel isn't bang central to the main tourism area (although not that far) it does help you get a good feel for Split and what its about which is quite important to me

They don’t provide any service, no one to help with the luggage. The breakfast was the worst. The fruits were completely spoiled. The eggs were cold. The cold cuts were terrible. Just a waist of money.

After reading the reviews about poor customer service, I was ready to cancel my booking. However, I was unable to find another hotel on short notice at this price. Upon arrival, I was buzzed into the car lot and greeted with a smile from Ivana. She most certainly exceeded my expectations of service. She was pleasant, professional, and efficient creating a smooth check in process. My room had two twin beds, which were comfortable. The pillows were thick & plush. You can control the temperature. There is a mini bar in the room. I did enjoy watching some American channels- you have to use the LANG button to switch Nickelodeon to English. And, only certain shows can be switched. The hotel is a 5 minute drive and 26 minutes walk to the Old Town. The walk is tolerable with children 8 and up. This property is a 26 minutes drive to Klis Fortress and The Olive Museum. The pool is deep and probably not suitable for young children without floating devices & parental supervision. It is a very nice pool nonetheless. Breakfast was ok. The kitchen staff were pleasant, attentive, and helpful. I was really shocked by the quality of service. My only issue was the cleanliness of my room. I knew towels weren't changed out as the evidence of filth was clearly visible. We were lacking wash cloths. The tub was filthy. The cleaning staff are not cleaning the rooms thoroughly. There is no reason why we left with dirty towels- good thing we had ours with us. Overall, good hotel-bring your own linen.
