"Nice, clean rooms. Very friendly staff"

"The check-in young lady was not welcoming or very friendly. She arrived a few minutes after 3:00 pm for the check-in time and seemed annoyed that we were there ready to check-in. No helpful tips from her about anything in the area. It wasn't very inviting. I didn't expect the room to be anything special but it was more run down then the pictures appear. The shower is really outdated, was clean though. The bed was comfortable and it is quite which was nice. The view is decent but it's not a river view. Overall we wouldn't recommend it and won't be returning to stay there in the future."

"This place can be called "rustic." The room is tiny, but functional. Clean, quiet, comfortable bed. But the location is awesome! Just minutes from Kings Canyon. A longer drive to Sequoia. Surrounded by the foothills of the Sierras. Gena is a delight, the restaurant is great."

"We arrived at our hotel after a long day of traveling from Santa Barbara and it was a welcome site. Our room was wonderful and very comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was great! Above average for a hotel included breakfast. This is a very nice hotel."
