Great gem on the outskirts of downtown St. Augustine
Overall had a really great stay and would absolutely stay again. The location is great - just a quick 10-15 minute drive to downtown St. Augustine. It also had multiple restaurants within easy walking distance for mornings we wanted to go out for breakfast. While the property is a bit of a walk from the beach as it’s at the back of the neighborhood, there is “visitor” parking by the private path leading to the beach which made it more convenient. Loved the amenities as well, which included two pools (one of which was heated). The condo itself was very clean, and they’ve made some good updates including the flooring and countertops. Only areas I’d call out: don’t expect to get in early. No one stayed at the condo the night before we arrived and we received our check in code at 2:30 on the dot even though we asked about getting in a little early. This is definitely not required or expected, so that’s fine, but it would’ve been a nice touch to get in a bit earlier on a day we spent hours traveling in torrential downpour. Also, as others have said, it is very much on a main road. We brought a box fan for white noise, so we weren’t bothered at night, but if you don’t bring something for blocking out the noise, you will hear every car, truck, and siren that goes by (lots of sirens). All that said, we’d absolutely stay again and had a wonderful time. Communication with the owner was great and we felt it was great value. Thank you!

Janel I'm so glad you know my business, but unfortunately there was someone staying in the unit before you arrived My housekeepers need to clean the unit after the last people leave, they also have other condos to clean too, and then then floor needs to dry after moping, I did get you in before the 3pm check in time, if you wanted to check in at 8am, then you should have booked the night before instead of complaining you could not check in at 8am , as the previous guest was still in there, as there check out time was 11 am , then the condo needed to be cleaned

Great stay, but some things you should know.
The apartment is very nice, with nice floors and granite countertops. It is close to the grocery stores, and plenty of eating options. Communication was excellent, and the place was easy to access. We found plenty of beach chairs however no beach umbrella. But there were a few things to know. The apartment is the furthest building from the beach and the walk is quite long. The apartment also sits on the main road (A1A) and traffic can get loud during the night. The complex is gated and very dog friendly, which means you can hear dogs barking all night and there are dogs on the beach. All in all I would def stay there again.

St. Augustine Ocean side condo
The condo was perfect for the two of us. Todd was a very responsive communicator and had excellent directions. The condo was nice and in a nice location that had several restaurants and grocery stores nearby. We loved that it was an easy walk to the beach and that the condo provided chairs and beach towels that we could take down there. The description and pictures of the condo were very accurate including the pictures of the patio facing the street. What the picture can’t tell you is that A1A is a very busy and load road. You definitely hear the traffic all night long. The other thing that was disappointing is that there were no ‘basics’. For example you are to run the dishwasher before you leave but they don’t have any dishwasher pods. There was also no coffee, coffee filters, shampoo or conditioner. With that said it was still a nice place to stay, just be prepared that you will need to buy or bring a few extra supplies with you.

I live across the street like I tell all my guest, You must of missed the cabinet with all the coffee, filters and non dairy creamer. I could have explained how to find it, but never heard from you until now

The host was a great communicator and we were happy to be close to the ocean. The condominium building is in the back of the property and right next to the road. There was a lot of road noise. There wasn’t a dishwasher pod or soap to run the dishwasher. Not enough towels and pillows and not everything matched. Also I was disappointed there was no shampoo/conditioner or body wash. Didn’t quite have the hospitality feel I expected but overall we enjoyed our stay and are grateful!

Excellent location
The condo was clean and in a good location with stores and restaurants near by. It is in a gated community with a private beach which is walkable within the community and is accessible with a key fob. It is a 15/20 minute drive to Old Town St. Augustine and very close to the St. Augustine Lighthouse. We enjoyed the fact that there was almost no traffic in this area compared to Southeast Florida where we used to go. The communication by the owner was excellent. We stayed for two weeks and would not hesitate to rent from this owner again.

Great little condo!

Check in through the gate was very well explained. Loved the electronic sign in board for check in and other information. The rooms were a comfortable size. Loved the large tvs. Wonderful private access to the beach. The road noice was noticeable. The bed was a little hard for our taste. The kitchen was stocked well.

We had a most enjoyable stay at this property. Todd was most helpful and super quick to respond. The condo was soooo spacious and comfortable. We had easy, private access to the beach and enjoyed being able to take leisurely strolls on the beach and dip our feet in the ocean! We absolutely loved this property!

My family had a great time the beaches are beautiful we went to Matanza's inlet right at the bridge there is parking & was perfect for my 6 & 3 year old to enjoy the beach without the waves.We even had 4 sea turtles swimming with us & it was majestic. The Condo is very clean & well maintained. The pullout bed on the sofa is broke but replacing furniture is expensive but the air mattress supplied was easy to use & my girls loved sleeping on it.It does sit right on the busy A1A highway & I guess not having an exhaust on your vehicle is what you do cause it was constant so if you are sensitive to that i wouldnt recommend this spot but the beach club itself was ver charming & the pools were nice everyone was friendly.The host Todd was very welcoming & the check in process was super easy.

Happy with our choice
Walking in to the condo we were very impressed, it was clean and very inviting! It was perfect for what we needed. Only couple items I want to point out, not to complain because again we were very pleased with our stay but to give others a heads up. There is a pool guard that is rather annoying and literally gets on to the kids for being kids (we didn’t have ours so this was not a problem for us but others were aggregated) The blinds in the room when you turn the fan on moved and made an annoying noise so we got creative and put stuff up against it to make it stop haha You will be on the FAR side of the complex, getting to the beach is a hike, so if you have a lot of stuff I suggest a wagon for sure. You are also right next to the main road and people think it’s cute to make obnoxious noises with their cars so next time I will bring a sound machine and drown out that noise from the outside traffic at night. Again I would stay here again we spent very little time in the condo, we explored, it was affordable, well decorated and we would go again! Coffee shop across the street is awesome and salt water cowboys down the side road is AMAZING. Definitely try both!

I would highly recommend staying at this property. The check in and check out process was very simple. The hosts were very accommodating to any questions quickly. The property was very clean and very put together. You have the beach or the pool on the property and restaurants and shops very very close. This one is definitely worth staying at again.

A Perfect Getaway
This was absolutely the most stress-free getaway I have EVER had! The location was within a boardwalk from the ocean. We even walked to get takeout. The unit was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet considering our side overlooked a busy street. Would definitely stay again!

The kitchen was very stocked with some extras. Stove worked great! The property while small is good for a shorter stay. Was great to have a washer and dryer. Not so great was the traffic noise. We didn’t realize it was so close to the road. Not anything you can do with that. I would suggest that the couch be replaced. The cushions are just not supported anymore. Overall a great place for a short stay. Lots of restaurants and things to do near by .

Good place for stay. Comfortable bed. Very loud washing machine; we just made sure we ran it when we were not in the apartment. This apartment is at the far western edge of the complex. The beach is at the far eastern edge.

We enjoyed our stay. It was definitely just like the pictures. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The pool was lovely and the walk to the beach was shorter than I anticipated, just a walk through the grounds. Our host was most accommodating and very prompt in answering any questions. We were pleased with the cleanliness of this property. Upon entering the unit, it smelled nice and fresh. The kitchen was stocked with necessary cooking and eating items. The bed was very comfortable. This is a second floor walk up unit. There is no elevator. This was not an issue for us. It was a short walk through the development to get to the beach. The beach was awesome! Vehicles are allowed on the beach. The grounds of the development are well maintained. People are responsible with their dogs. It was a short drive into the historical town of St. Augustine. We enjoyed staying away from the crowds & congestion of St. Augustine. The coffee shop across the road from the unit is amazing (Kokaburra). There are enough restaurants nearby. Everyone is very polite and welcoming and the food and beverages were great. There are two pools on the property. One is heated & is under construction. The other is clean & well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to others.

Total relaxation.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The beach was further away than I anticipated, but..it was all good. I was unable to access the property as VRBO never sent me the property entry code. But, the owner answered my phone call immediately and all was good.
