"We had a lovely stay at the Jacaranda Bay Villa, a safe, quiet and beautiful setting, close to shops and restaurants. The kayaks and paddle boards were a welcomed addition. We could swim in a pool or off of the dock and were amazed by the many sea creatures. The manager of the property was most helpful and attentive. Enjoy a peaceful escape to this Villa!"

"First of all, I couldn't get the TV to work with the wifi password. Secondly, the kitchen sink, dish rack and stove were dirty, rusty and moldy in some areas. The toaster oven was rusty on the inside. The bathroom tub and faucets were rusty. The toilet had stains and underneath the vanity was filthy and full of old hair products and the inside of the doors were dirty. The second bedroom was a child's room with bunk beds and the mattresses were 4 inches thick foam and very hard! I had to fold 2 blankets to sleep on. It was such an awful stay that I left the premises after the first night!! "

"Great larger family spot with plenty of rooms and beds, very nice hosts and plenty of local referrals for driving and food etc. Nice pool and direct access to the ocean from property, saw plenty of fish and sea creatures as well as shells, lots for kids to do and it’s close to nice food and groceries. "

"The Host didn't contact me about the rental. The first telephone number that I found for him was not in service. He finally responded to me just after 7 pm. I had been trying to find the Property since 3:30 pm. Check in time was 3 pm. The address that was not given was not accurate. The property was on a tiny unmarked road - I was only able to find it after he pinned it and sent it to me.It was not close to any amenities. After finding out where it was, I decided not to stay there."

"Place was in a building under construction in which the apartment is very hidden and the instructions to find it were not clear. The place was really dark at night and made everything more difficult to find. Someone saw us struggling at night trying to find the place and guided us to the apartment. The host was not very accommodating regarding our request to ck out at 12 rather we than 11 am so that we could finish an activity that ran late. "

"Home Construction WORKERS were doing repairs in my private outdoor space. 3 consecutive days morning through afternoon. COULDN’T enjoy my mornings outside, very imposing and I felt extremely uncomfortable."

"We stayed at this villa recently and overall had a mixed experience. Inside, the property was very clean, well‑stocked, and comfortable. The host provided clear instructions for check‑in and was always prompt and helpful with communication, which we really appreciated. Montageau Beach is about a 20‑minute walk from the villa, and the sidewalk along the route made it an easy and enjoyable walk during the day. However, there were some downsides. We did not feel comfortable being outside the villa after dark, and the surrounding area felt less safe than expected. It’s also important to note that you will need a car or plan on using cabs for groceries and restaurants—there aren’t many options within walking distance. One of the biggest disappointments was that the listing advertised a pool, but it was not available during our stay. Additionally, while the inside was well maintained, the exterior of the villa is quite run‑down and could really use an upgrade. Overall, this property has potential and some solid positives, but a few key issues held back our experience. "
