"I really used to like this hotel as its in a beautiful location. I won't go back unless they buck there ideas up, check in was 4pm, room not ready after driving for 5 hours, no bar open and it's miles away from Inveraray, 5pm given a room key and found out it hadn't been cleaned. Bar opened 5pm my husband got me a drink and manager or owner (he turned up about 16.50 ) said by the time we had the drink our alternative room would be ready. We were not the only ones waiting at least another 5 or 6...

"We were met by our host at approximately 8 pm on the first night of our stay. We had provided an approximate time beforehand to help. We were then given the tour, which was extremely helpful. We loved the room - so clean and spacious with en-suite and the sea view was breathtaking. The new bath was very much welcomed, although we just used the superb walk-in shower provided during our stay. There were nice additional touches in the room, e.g. some whiskey to sample, tooth picks, cotton buds, tissues etc. The hamper-style continental breakfast that was delivered to your room every morning was fantastic. More than enough food and snacks for a complete day we thought. There was the Oyster Inn nearby for drinks and food too, which we utilised on some evenings. The trip to Oban itself was only 5 x miles away and we opted for a visit to Sky Falls for some pictures - an hour or so away. All-in-all, this was a fantastic stay and we did what we came to do, which was mainly to taste the wonderful seafood in Oban. We very highly recommend this superb B&B."

"Staff in general were very helpful and friendly. Lovely location overlooking the loch. The cooked breakfast was very good. The spa was good, pool long enough to get a decent swim. Jacuzzi and steam room nice too. The only drawback was that the spa only has 4 cushioned loungers so many guests had nowhere to lounge and read their books on busy afternoons, and there was a bit of a scramble when a sunlounger became free. Adequate parking."
