"The hotel is ideally situated for any events at the SEC, and with a multi storey car park next door (which has a special rate for hotel guests) it's an easy choice. From my initial check in to leaving the staff were all courteous, helpful and friendly. Yes the bar area has simple but as a music fan, I loved the decor, a drum kit suspended from the ceiling, chandelier effect using drum sticks and stools made using old amplifiers. "Perfect location for a concert at the Hydro, rooms were clean, quite large, had a great view and bed was huge but comfy. Good range of food at breakfast, staff were friendly and attentive. Evening meal was also very good. Will be back next time we are at the Hydro!"
