This hotel has been recently updated with modern appliances and a high-tech feel. The room is spacious by central London standards. Although our room was on the -1 level, we could barely hear the Tube, even at night. There is no front desk, but management responded promptly to our requests via email. The location is very convenient, within walking distance of the British Museum and the Russell Square Tube station. We visited in April and found it to be an excellent value for a short stay in London.

This property has a beautiful garden. A new owner did a nice job of rehabbing the property about 2 years ago. The rooms are quite nice, and it’s a decent value by london standards. I have stayed here several times (in Dec ‘25 and April ‘26). I used to also stay here even more frequently under the prior owners. It’s a very convenient location near the earls court tube station. If you use a wheelchair, I would not recommend. The bar and restaurant are both good. You don’t get much help with luggage. The main issue I have had both times is that they don’t get the bill right. They fixed it, but they routinely add charges without permission (an across the board service charge, without your consent, plus other incorrect charges). Ultimately it all got fixed, but it’s pretty annoying. Other than these issues, it’s really very good and you will love the garden! I go back for the garden!
