100 Steps to the Gulf -Soaring Ceilings, Beams, Contemp, Free Lighthouse Passes

Located on a barrier island off the coast of Florida with great Gulf Views. Directly, fronting on the island's paved bike path, it has its own adjacent beach access easement as well. Just 100 steps from the Gulf. Take your pet walking on the beach and bicycle path.

The home is located on the south side of the road at 932 East Gulf Beach Drive.

This furnished home features include a washer and dryer; phone; 2 SMART TVs and large sundeck. Complete kitchen with an electric stove, electric oven, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. Outside there is a shower, fish cleaning station and grill.

Our home has been completely repainted in August 2018. All new interior, 8 solid core doors, along with a new deck and new railings were installed in December 2017. New vinyl plank floor coverings were installed throughout the home in June 2017.

Free High Speed Cable WIFI ready - bring your laptop to surf the web, to stream your favorite movies- TV shows and to check your emails.

Free admission to the St George Light House is provided as a Welcome Gift for each guest.

Sisters’ Annual Beach Trip

Great beach trip

This was a great property. Very easy walk to the beach and the property's wagon made hauling our stuff very easy. Everything was well stocked, never had to worry about running out of trash bags, dish soap, etc. which was a nice touch. The property owner was very responsive and helped us when we left behind a few clothing items to ensure they were returned. Will definitely try to stay here again!

Convenient location, good beach area.

We enjoyed our stay. The house has a nice layout with plenty of room for our family. A lot of natural light with the view towards the beach. We took advantage of free light house passes offered by the host. Beach is a short distance away, very few people since its remote from public beach access. accesss.

Great property on the forgotten coast. I have stayed many beaches in Florida and now my favorite choice is St. George Island Florida. Would stay at Advantage Pointe again.

Wonderful location

Very clean!! A little dated. The location was wonderful!! Close to the beach and the piggly wiggly. A few minor inconveniences. There were only two rolls of toilet paper in the whole house and the tub does not drain well so you are standing in water while showering. I still give this place a 10/10 bc it was clean and very comfortable!!! Would stay here again.

Great getaway

Came down for a long weekend. Great value and very nice house. House is a very short walk to the beach and because it was away from public access, beach was not crowded. Host were very responsive, when sending messages they always responded back almost immediately.

House is in a good location for a walk to the beach. Very dog friendly. Beach cart was a big help with multiple chairs to choose from. Am coming back with family at the end of the month again.

Price is right!

The bathrooms were a little dated.. Kitchen fine but small. Very nice serving dishes and every utensil you would need. Great TV and comfortable furnishings. No complaints!

We love this house; our 2nd stay

We hope to return. Iffy thanks to Helene, but our week was ideal weather-wise. There was a lot of water around but it's a barrier island so this is not unexpected. Everything about the house was in tip-top shape. It's a lovely home, and we hope to come back for more sun & beach time. Our hosts went above & beyond in communicating and accommodating. First family beach vacation

This was the first time for my daughter in law to ever go to a beach on the Gulf (she is from Ohio). Also was the first time at the beach for both grandsons (1 and 5 years old). They experienced sand castles, shell hunting, kite flying, beautiful sunsets, dolphins, climbing a lighthouse, ghost crabs at night, etc. the house was great and close to the beach. We celebrated my daughters and daughter in laws birthdays (beach party) too! The only thing to watch out for are the stickers on the path to the beach.

spring break.

Overall, it was a good stay for the 2nd time this year. Had a new set of cooking pans dropped off while there. The first stay there were no real issues. this time we had to take care of the dishes in the washer because we weren't sure if they had been run. Found some items in the one of the bedrooms and downstairs bath. Towels were still in dryer. Working with owners were great. Location for beach is wonderful and having the cart is a great help. Would rent again if possible.

A needed break

I have been coming to SGI since 2000. Have stayed at numerous homes all different sizes. My brother and myself and my sister-in-law went down to help a friend whose had just passed away with some loose ends.Totally enjoyed the property and the location is great. Also had a pretty good storm come through while we were there and I called the homeowner the next day to tell them about some damage. They answer the phone right off the bat and we're extremely helpful. In fact, my sister-in-law had such a good time that she booked it for the three of us again again next spring

Quick winter vaca

We enjoyed St. George during off-season. Our stay at the house was nice. Could have been better for me if there were board games and cards available. Bring your own kitchen tools to crack and open seafood. There is a large stock pot thankfully. Beds were comfy. I prefer my floors and baseboards to be cleaner but to each their own. Overall everything was comfortable and relaxing. Kids enjoyed the house as well. Appalachacola Nature Preserve was fantastic. Best shrimp I've had in my life bought from Island View. Polowoggs has very yummy food. The house was peaceful and we didn't have any issues. Thanks!

Beach home SGI

First impression it’s spacious living room 3 bedroom 2 bath big deck w umbrellas 2 level clean home- well equipped kitchen nice white towels w/d beach access water view nice amenities like starter soaps tp paper towels-even iron/ironing board -nice bright space comfy beds pillows furniture- good host communication. SGI lodging is pricey and the VRBO fees are too much for 3 nite stay- if you share cost w friends or other fam or extended stay and it’s big enough it would be reasonable and is for this area and location and this home is a great value roomy but still VRBO fees which owner doesn’t get probably are a lot.Loved the beach bridges access to Appalachacola and friendliness of folks.Very nice beachy vibe- thank you for sharing your home-we had a wonderful stay.One little tiny thing u need a muffin tin!💗

Good location & well-stocked

We travel to SGI a few times a year and this was our first time staying here. We found the house to be very well stocked and in a good location with the short walk to the beach. The master bed was comfortable, good water pressure in sinks and showers, plenty of towels, full-sized washer and dryer and a nice large screen TV. Only negatives are that the master bedroom is not private as it is lofted and when you are standing in the bedroom, people in the adjacent house can see right in if they are out on their balcony so we had to make sure we undressed in the bathroom and/or closet. Also, some updating would be nice and the place wasn't as clean as we are used to but I always bring disinfectant wipes. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would consider renting again. We liked the option that it is dog-friendly as well.
