Best location in the Plantation!!

Island Rhythm is THE HOUSE to stay in @ St. George Island Plantation. Killer forever views from every bedroom, living and kitchen areas. Wonderful clean and spacious home and impeccable location. Can hardly wait to return!!!!!

Perfect location, beautiful beach

This was our second year renting this house and we had another great stay this time around. The house is spacious, the pool and beach are both steps away which was perfect for our family.

Great Ocean Views

Great week at the beach

This house fit 2 families with 11 total people perfectly. Lots of places to hang out inside and out. Quiet beach and several nice pools nearby.

Awesome place to stay!

It could not have been more perfect! It's a beautiful place that was clean, beautiful, well equipped with all amenities and will definitely be back. Great place for a large family. Communication with tenant was excellent and was always responsive.

Great place to relax on fall break

Island Rhythm was a perfect place to relax on St George Island. With bedrooms on three levels, there was ample room for teens who wanted their own space. The kitchen was perfectly equipped for gourmet cooking and the beachfront location was great for short midday breaks and nighttime walks. Highly recommend this house!

Highly recommend for multiple families

This home was perfect for my family. There was plenty of space for everyone and never felt crowded. We had 11 people and the space worked very well. The pool being located across the street from the driveway made it easy with small children. Very quiet street and no traffic. Great family rental.

Great Location, Great Space

Nice amount of space on a beautifully sited lot. The house could work well for two families as there are two bedrooms and two baths and a sitting room on the lower level, and then the Master and Loft on the upper two levels. While very clean, the house is in need of some refreshing with regard to furnishings.

Perfect beach getaway

We had a lovely week. There were 7 of us- 4 adults and 3 kids, and we had more than enough space in the house. The house is very well-appointed, comfortable and spacious. The view is gorgeous and the beach just a short walk away. The beach is very quiet and secluded, it felt like it was our very own beach. The pool was also just literally steps away in front of the house- we spent a lot of time there swimming with the kids. We wished we were staying all summer!

The extra pool was awesome nobody else used it while we were there. The kids were a bit upset we couldn’t bike to the ice cream shop. Our trip to SG this time around was pretty disastrous. Outside of the our late check in and having maintenance guy to hang out with for most of our first day there (the back slide door didn’t open) there was a tornado so we had to pack up on day 2. It was all a bit exhausting. Not all of it was on the property management but the trip was painful.

Breathtaking !

We reluctantly left - wish we could stay forever! The views from the home are unparalleled. Just breathtaking. We especially loved the panorama views from the dining room. Since it was just 2 of us we had a hard time deciding which oceanfront bedroom to stay in!!! We finally ended up at the very top and enjoyed the vaulted ceilings in that bedroom- we could hear the ocean and see the stars from the bed at night. It’s a beautiful home. Kitchen is well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed it all.

Nice but could be better

Nice layout. Good location. Pool was great Beach close by. Mosquitoes terrible. No keurig and was told there would be one. No cable for 3 days. Needs to be cleaned better

Great location and beautiful home

The home was recently renovated and was in great shape. The location is perfect with really great beach access, and the beach on this stretch of the Plantation was not crowded at all. There are a lot of steps, and bringing in groceries is annoying because the kitchen is on the second level of living space, so actually up two flights of stairs. But worth it for the view from the dining area! (Also there’s a fridge in the garage for things that don’t need to go upstairs.) The property manager was responsive and helpful.

Spectacular and comfortable

This house is exactly what it is advertised to be and is a great set up. It has all the amenities you could want. We had a family of 4 with 2 children ages 6 and 8 and an additional couple, and the set up was perfect. The family of 4 were on the 1st floor and the couple on the 2nd floor. We had room for more on the 3rd floor and used that as a "reading room." The kitchen is lovely and the view is spectacular. We had been to SGI once before and so were less in the exploring mode and already knew places to go both on SGI and in Apalachicola, etc. We had a FABULOUS boat ride and treasure hunt on the "deserted island" for the kids through Jolly Roger which I highly recommend. It was a real highlight. I would say the only caveat is that there are a lot of steps in the house - not a problem at all for our group, but for anyone with physical limitations, this could have been an issue. Lovely house and would happily go back!

Yet Another Amazing Fall Break With Friends and Perfect Weather

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay yet again, and this was our second year in a row at this house in late September. Its hard really to find something negative to write about this house/property, but if I had to pick, I'd probably point out that the "new" fridge (different than last year) doesn't really cool very well or fast. Some of that may have been due to the traffic in/out with all the mouths we fed, and the ice maker seemed to maybe have some sediment in the water line so we just bagged it. That kept the 5th star away. And outside of the mosquitos that were just awful once you got off the beach, and this was true all over the island, the weather and water temp and overall experience was just fantastic - even the dolphins were excited to see us and put on several aerial displays while we were there. We came down this time with a extra family and the house easily supported two families, especially with the sleeping room and carpeted common area on the 2nd floor. Imagine I'll be calling Carla again next year. Having a nearby, basically private pool at our disposal, was also a great plus for this property, and lastly, compliments to the management for DVRing the Bama game for me - a special request that I knew was above and beyond, yet they managed to pull it off since we drove down on a Saturday.

Spacious but not worth the price

House was spacious but if you have elderly or disabled people in your group this would be a nightmare, two flights of stairs to get to middle level then two more flights to the main level.where kitchen is located, also stairs up.to a landing over the dune and then down more stairs to get to the beach. Also owner/ property manager did not tell us we couldn't have our golf cart on the plantation property, so we were stopped coming through the gate and told we would have to leave it at the fire dept. No one was there and we had other things on our trailer so we went to unload and the property manager/ girlfriend of the owner called me saying we took cart to the house after being told not to.Then sent security, we parked cart in garage and left it there the whole trip, would not have brought it if only we were informed! House needs updating, screened porch screen damaged so couldn't use, Mosquitos were terrible!! Will never stay in The Plantation again, too many community rules, really not impressed for the price of this place, we love St. George just not this gated community.

Great panoramic views from the family room / kitchen. Perfect layout for privacy and hanging out.

First of all, this place is inside the Plantation. That means you are with a different class of people - no Spring Breakers and no craziness. The house is on my favorite street in Plantation - Canopy Ln. It is right next to the pool. Most important to us is that the main level with the kitchen and great room are high above the dunes - so you wake every morning to the beautiful Gulf views with dolphin and sea turtles very visable through the wall to to wall windows. We like to bring our dog and the beach area is somewhat secluded so the pup can run in the surf and chase balls and no worries with being chained up the whole time. Fishing right from the surf is so much fun and they do bite. Pompano can be had in the more shallow water and what a great way to catch and eat your dinner without even leaving your house. Take the paddle board you can rent from Jolly Rogers and drag the bait out past the sandbar and drop it deep and you can catch anything from shark to lots of other fun fish to catch and eat! The layout is great for families who want togertherness in the great room but also want some quiet time. The top bedroom provides a particularly private setting with its own mini-kitchen and private bath. We rent often at SGI and will be back to Sea Cliff. When seeking a rental and paying beach-front prices, you want to see the beach and not the dunes. Be careful not to rent a house with a "dune view" which is beach front price. . . 7 senior women enjoyed our stay despite 4 rainy days! Well stocked kitchen. Loved the DR view!! A few general comments and access/safety issues for our particular group but didn't require/request assistance during stay due to Covid: Glass front door is difficult to open (sticky), requires a push. Interior stairs are without handrails. Warped board in first level floor walkway. Missing bulbs in 2 nightstand lamps; no night lights; only one nightstand on 2nd level. All beds are higher than average (@34”?), luckily one member brought a step stool. Bathtubs without safety strips/mats or grab bars. Minimal bath linens, requiring more steps to launder; (no extra pillows, blankets or bedding for sleeper sofa). Toilets are not chair height. 2nd level street side large bathroom windows are uncovered. Be prepared for multiple stairs/steps (into house, within house, to beach). Other: garbage can needs sanitizing; removed dead mouse near water heater; suspect hot tub has leak; some instructions re DVD player/lights/fans/3rd level AC unit would have been helpful; garbage pickup instructions--to curb or not?? Is there no recycling on St George?!?

Easy to get in the Rhythm

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Weather was great. House was really great-superbly well equipped kitchen. About those much maligned stairs-yes, there are a lot of stairs-to be expected in a house built on pilings. We are able bodied older adults and viewed the stairs as assets to increasing our physically activity and our reward was the incredible view of the gulf over the sand dunes. Stephanie is a terrific property manager-responded right away each time. Minor suggestion to property owners-put some hooks (for hats, coats, leashes) and a shoe tray near the main entrance-to cut down on clutter near the door. Best wishes for wonderful memories to everyone else who stays here!

Very Nice, Georgeous View

We really enjoyed this spacious house and beautiful location, especially the dining room with windows and view on three sides and the uppermost bedroom with light streaming in. Everything was clean and in order. We are relatively short people, though, and the beds were awkwardly high. Maybe the house was designed by tall people?

Perfect Vacation

We had a wonderful week long vacation. The house was very well appointed and the location was perfect. My only complaint was the there were no wine glasses. There were plastic wine "glasses" but they don't clean well and looked unclean. Luckily I had read about the lack of wine glasses so I brought my own. Besides that, everything else was perfect.
