"Stayed here for a long weekend so we could visit some of the great towns in the Peak District. This was a fantastic find. The hotel is very clean and presentable and all the staff were very polite and professional. Nice touch with the extra treats in the corridors and fridges/coffee machines in the rooms. The only slight thing to mention was the small choice items for a continental breakfast, however this was amply made up with the cooked breakfast options which was very tasty indeed. I will not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone. Well done to all the staff who help make this a true gem."

"Very attractive exterior with colourful hanging baskets and tubs - clearly well looked after. Food was extremely good, both dinner and breakfast offered a fantastic choice. My single ensuite was small but perfectly fine with an efficient shower, tea/coffee facilities and TV, although internet was prone to buffering. Would certainly go back again."

"The food was excellent (dinner and breakfast). Lovely garden area to sit out with a drink. Room and bathroom were very clean with plenty of hot water. The only slight negative was that the room was too hot overnight, despite having the window open. A lovely stay. I would definitely return. "
