  • This is sky bridge. The most massive arch in Red River. it spans over a hundred feet and about 50 feet in the air. Probably the most famous arch in Red River, it has been seen in movies. Many astro-photographers flock here because of it's structure and clear skyline. If you get a chance, the trail is only .8 miles and very much worth it. You first walk across the top of the arch, it is so big that you are halfway across before you notice your not just on a narrow rock path. then you circle around to be under the arch.

Great trip

We had a really nice stay. Cabin had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy. Will comfortably sleep 6. Loft area might be a little trick for some guests but was prefect for our loft stayer and us to access.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin! The location was great! Centrally located and easy to get anywhere on the red river gorge or natural bridge side. A heads up that there is noise from the highway since you are so close. We had everything we needed and loved the creative feel to the place with hand painted signs, repurposed furniture, local photos and attention to detail. We recommend bug spray. The skeeters were vicious! Another small suggestions would be to replace the Adirondack chairs around the fire pit. Some were cracked a not so sturdy.

Awesome Cabin in the Woods!

Love, love, loved the property. So much so we decided not to go out to dinner our second night and just enjoy the property. We utilized the hot tub in the evening and in the morning. It was very accommodating and inviting. Will visit again and recommend to family and friends.

Up in the hills

We had a wonderful stay. The house was well maintained and very clean. A narrow gravel road gets you to the house up in the hills and the house is surrounded by trees. The access to the fire pit and hot tub is pretty steep, but no we had no issues. Both areas were well maintained. Traffic noise from the main road was tolerable.

Weekend get away

The manager was fantastic about answering all questions I had, and she responded within seconds. The cabin was so freaken cute, charming and very welcoming. The view was beautiful if you like to just be in secluded places and look at the trees and such. The king bed was like sleeping on a cloud and the pillows was just right. Only downfall was there was one bathroom, but we made it work, the shower was great it had two heads in it. And the best part of all was the hot tub outside I could have stayed in it for hours. We also enjoyed just relaxing on the back porch. Overall, I give this place a 10/10 and my hubby and I will be for sure booking another stay in the future.

Fantastic!

Very clean, well stocked cabin. Fridge had ice in ice maker, plenty of towels for showers, plenty of towels for hot tub, plenty of games to choose, stocked with plenty of dishes, utensils to use. Loved that when I realized I forget qtips and hairspray, there were all things like that in the drawers under the bed in the main suite. Host always responded quickly to questions before and during our stay. Fairly easy to get to but you are renting a cabin in the mountains so no complaints. Close enough to all the hot places to visit. We will be back next year!

River gorge getaway

Stayed at rental for 5 days. Very clean. Close to most of places to visit and things to do: Daniel Boone's coffee, cave kayaks, UTV rentals, many many trails, Natural Bridge state park, restuarants are some what close. Provided plenty of toilet paper! Single wall mounted AC unit to cool entire cabin. Our kids upstairs didn’t complain about it being too hot but if you like it cold then it may not be cool enough upstairs when hot outside. Helped when ceiling fan reversed to move air upwards.

Perfect family getaway

My mom and I along with my two other adult siblings booked this cabin for a few days away but still close to home. It was immaculately clean upon arrival. From the floors to the linens and out to the grill and hot tub, all squeaky clean, whoever keeps the place up deserves an award! Fully stocked is not an exaggeration, this little place has anything you may need and an abundance of towels, etc. The spiral staircase presents a little learning curve (no pun intended) but was not an issue for the 45-55 year old "kids". I have a note about the yard for those who are as excited as I was about a cabin with a yard; you are still in the hills of Kentucky and everything is on a bit of a downhill slope. The only other thing I will mention is that you are really close to everything in RRG which is great but also means you can hear the highway. I personally LOVE the blue decor accents and the mix of clean white and traditional cabin interior. If you're on the fence about booking, dont be, this place is wonderful!
