"The room was clean the kitchen area is a real help especially for people like myself who work away a lot, it was reasonable priced for the stay and it’s right by the town so everything is on your doorstep. Parking was good and safe, staff were helpful and polite, even managed to book an e yea night last minute which was good! "Comfortable and quiet (mid week) stay at this pub in the lovely town of Tenbury Wells. Basic room and decor but bed was very comfortable. I was expecting more noise from the pub but it was very quiet. Car park a little tight in places but can’t be helped. They offer breakfast however also plenty of cafes in the town including one at the back of the pub. Would stay again."

"We liked the old fashioned grandeur of the place although the halls and doors could probably do with a spruce up. The room was quite large, clean and comfortable with tea and biscuits. The restaurant and bar looked quite nice but we didn’t use them. We thought the breakfast was a bit expensive at almost £40 for two so got some half price locally. We also had to pay £10 for parking nearby. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful though. All in all we had a nice stay."

"An old building with historic interest situated in a town with many interesting old building which is well worth a walk around. The staff were friendly and helpful. Evening meals and Sunday carvery were tasty and specials were explained. A thing to note is that there is no lift so mobility needs to be good to walk up stairs which was not a problem for us. Enjoyed our stay here and will be back next year as still much more to explore in the ares"

"We received a very warm welcome from the staff when we arrived plus a very welcome glass of water as we checked in. The hotel is very well situated to explore Ludlow and the surrounding countryside, it sits an easy 10 minute stroll into Ludlow, crossing a very picturesque bridge beneath the walls of the castle and offering a dramatic view of the castle as you approach. We had a lovely first evening meal at the hotel, the menu is appropriately short and the wine list very good, a very nice touch is the offer of a number of wines by the carafe, great for couples. Breakfast is served in the light filled conservatory and again had a good selection of cereals and cooked dishes, with vegetarian options. Staff were really helpful and on hand to advise on places to visit nearby. All in all a very nice place to stay."
