"As a budget hotel, it was excellent. Everything was provided in the room what was needed for an overnight stay. Beds were so comfy and room was set out really nice. Couldn’t fault anything at all. Dining room/ reception area was ideal and breakfast was excellent."
"Excellent for the price I paid. Rooms have recently been renovated and it showed. The only niggles were that the extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy and probably needs replacing (room 10) and there was no hot water: I tried to have a shower but couldn't: No matter how long you ran the tap for or in which position the water never got warm.
Would definitely stay there again. Big thank you to Jamie who so very kindly let me check in early."

"I find it very difficult to review this. The staff were absolutely lovely as were the other guests. However, I felt very misled by the advertising. It was extremely noisy (I was woken at 4 am by footsteps above my room and as the people upstairs were dancers, I cannot think anything except it has zero sound insulation). I also didn’t realize it would not provide towels. I paid £95 and then was expected to pay £2 for a towel. Breakfast included was rice crispies or oats. Completely misleading advertising. Super disappointing after walking the canals from Halifax and hoping to shower and warm up. I could have had a much nicer room in a hotel not up a massive hill for the same price. "

"The location is fabulous! View out the front windows of the village square, a short stroll away, which is empty and peaceful during the night and interesting to watch it get increasingly buzzing as the day begins. So nice to walk down to grab a pastry and cappuccino in the morning as a treat. This apartment has everything one needs for a comfortable stay including a unique and private patio. Perfect for a couple."
