The downside was that the alley behind the house is home to large dumpsters that had a LOUD garbage pickup at 5:45 and multiple deliveries around that same time. The windows are not sound proof and they were loud enough to hear over our sound machine. The TV in the bedroom with the door is also not set up so we couldn’t enjoy that once our toddler went to bed in the doorless room. We liked the flooring and wood...

"The property is lovely and would be great for a sunnier beach weekend. Did not get a chance to take advantage of many of the amenities due to the weather, but that’s Michigan for you. Things were a bit worn, torn, and dusty in some places, but that’s pretty standard for a cabin in the spring. "

"First family vacation to Michigan and it was amazing.This cottage is so cute and has all the amenities.The beach tops any other beach we've been on,we had the beach to ourselves all week.Only wish water wouldve been a little warmer.We enjoyed kayaking,fires at night on the deck,playing games and looking for stones.Its a perfect spot for day trips to Mackinac,Harbor Springs,Petoskey and more.Would highly recomend."

"It was a cute house. Needed ALOT of TLC. When we arrived it took over an HOUR to get in and we artived and hour AFTER check in time. Even when we connected with some SHE could not use KEY FREE ENTRY SHE COULD NIT GET IN. We ended up usining her KEY. The cottage was NOT dusted. The bedroom to right of living room smelled mUSTY. OUR WINDOW AIR DID NOT WORK. WE HAD NO VIEW OF LAKE like stated on information. Only 2 windows had screens on. PORCH SCREEN DOOR WAS TATTERED. MISQUOTES WERE...

"Our room was very clean and comfortable! Our lake view room was amazing, the balcony was great for coffee and relaxing! Was within walking distance to Arnold Ferry for second part of our trip to Mackinac Island for a couple days. Was very easy walk to eat at The Rusted Spoke and Dixie Saloon and to see Icebreaker Mackinaw Museum. Would stay again!!!"
