"This is a traditional stay, meaning you will sleep on a thin mattress on top of tatami mats on the floor. I’m 40 and it was okay for a couple of nights. I didn’t mind. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Also keep in mind that the showers are shared, no individual stalls. There are great Cafes and restaurants around"

The rooms were a bit cold this time of year, so I suggest starting the heater during the day while you are out to come back to a nice toasty room. The property is conveniently located with a beautiful vue on the lake from the front and Fuji-san from the back. I would definitely stay here again!"
