"Loved the Hotel, as it was very clean, updated, and served great breakfast included. Hotel was easy beach access, and downtown situated to many restaurant's. No need to drive once checked in, as everything was all in short walking distance."

"When I arrived at the motel, my room wasn't ready. Mgmt was very apologetic. He said it would be about half hour before the room was ready. He asked if I wanted to wait. I had just came from the ocean and had sand everywhere. I told him I would take an upstairs room instead of the downstairs. Instead he let us use another room that was ready so we can shower. That is something that was very kind. We showered and switched rooms when ours was ready."

"Hotel San Buena is a beautifully restored location with modern amenities. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the temperature controlled room was perfect. The staff were incredibly thoughtful and kind and helpful. And little touches like turn down service (a little treat in the evening) and filtered water on the rooms were very nice. My only complaint was that the Historic room is directly below a walkway and directly next to a gate that leads to the outdoors. We could hear people walking and the heavy metal gate slam shut as early as 7am and as late as 10pm. Other than this our stay was ideal."

"The unit was very clean. The instructions for checking in were easy. It was a little hot when we got there. No A/C but we just opened windows and turned on the ceiling fans. The bathtub drain was clogged but I texted the property manager and they fixed it within a few hours. The location was amazing. Quick walk to the beach and to Main St Ventura."
