"It's a lovely place, nice room, basic and small but served our purpose. Very firm matrases, closer to hard. Good English breakfast but not much else. There were 2 issues only. One is that in a twin room you can't really use a wardrobe, it's very tight spacing and it just doesn't open as the bed is next to it (you can't move the bed either, no space). And at 7.00 fire alarm went off in our room. That seriously disrupted my sleep and turned out to be something in the kitchen. No one even went down...

"Business trip. Nice stay nice pub nice staff although and I booked this B&B on the reviews I read (only the top 4 when viewing) if I had seen more reviews on the fact that they didn't do breakfast unless you book directly with them I would of chosen somewhere else. Also noted when leaving/checking-out the property you do so via the night entrance which the stairs down are very steep and you must be very careful if you have heavy or a large case with you. All that being said I did enjoy my stay."

"A cosy sea front hotel above a pub. Room 404 had superb bay window for admiring the view of the beach and sea across to The Spinaker Tower. The room is bright ,warm plenty of lights, mirrors and storage. A few things are a bit tired, curtains don't close properly, chest of drawers damaged and sink worn but comfortable bed and efficient shower over bath .Friendly staff and guest entrance when staff not on duty. Good value ."

"Extremely pleasant stay the staff were friendly and efficient, The room was spotless and the beds were comfortable. The only minor issue was the lighting by the mirrors we found inadequate for getting ready for a wedding and it would have be nice to have a full length mirror. Breakfast wad great and will certainly stay again. Many thanks for making our stay most enjoyable."

"We loved our stay. We were in the Fat Badger room in the garden. It is a tranquil oasis. The owners are so kind and can’t do enough to help. Breakfast is delicious with lots of local produce. One of the nicest places I have stayed in a very long while. "

"The hotel looked lovely but unfortunately we didn't get to stay. Turned up to find hotels.com had not passed out booking into hotel so left with nowhere to stay in remote countryside. I'd recommend the eco lodge - staff were lovely but not hotels.com -it took almost a month to get a refund only by going via my bank's anti fraud process."
