"Hotel and grounds were amazing, the view are breathtaking. Only let down was the spa for such a large hotel the spa wasn’t big enough. They charge £10 per person for the use of the spa for 1hr. Free if you book a treatment again maximum use 1hr. No where on the hotel description did I see a charge. If I did I probably wouldn’t have booked as we were looking for a spa hotel. Thankfully the weather was wonderful so we enjoyed the surrounding area and hotel grounds."

"The hotel needs to round off the handles on the room doors. Mine was razor-sharp and when I checked in the door handle cut my little finger halfway up its length. Since door handles are often handled by dirty hands, they are a vector for disease and it’s just a matter of time until the hotel faces a major lawsuit. The attached photo shows the length of the cut after four days of healing."

"Stayed here during our family trip to the Cotswolds and overall the hotel location was very practical with comfortable rooms and easy parking. It worked well as a base for exploring the surrounding villages. However, we had a disappointing experience with the breakfast service. The hotel advertised complimentary breakfast, but by the time we came down in the morning, most of the breakfast items were already finished and not replenished properly. This was especially disappointing for our children, who were really looking forward to breakfast before starting the day. While the staff were polite, the breakfast management during busy periods clearly needs improvement, especially for families staying during holiday weekends. Guests should not feel rushed or miss out on breakfast that is included with the stay. Apart from that, the stay was comfortable and convenient."

"A really convenient hotel for central Oxford (and Blenheim) as close to the park and ride. There's a bus stop directly outside the hotel that takes you right into the centre of the city for less than £3 - meaning you can avoid the congestion & clean air zone charges by leaving the car in the huge car park. Reception is lovely, as are the staff, lots of little extras...free fruit, free cold drinks & spritz for the grown ups - which on the hotest day of the year was very welcome! The bedroom was spacious & the air con actually worked & the room cooled within minutes, which as the temps reached 34° was a huge bonus & meant we slept soundly! Only criticism would be, whilst the bedroom looked relatively newly renovated, the bathroom was dire!!! The bath had repairs around the edge with sharp edges on the bath side, the door hinges were orange with rust and the bottom of the door had huge chunks of psint missiing... tbf the whole bathroom felt like it hadn't been updated since the early 80s & it was tiny! The bedroom was huge & could easily have given space up to a larger bathroom. We only stayed for one night so didnt raise the issue with the poorly repaired bathroom with reception, but when I stay here again (and I will stay here again!) I will insist that the room we are given have a much better/updated bathroom next time."
