"Checking in and out was essentially done by self-service on screens at reception, although there was a staff member there to assist. The Club room was spacious and clean. Large bed and comfortable bed. Good sound proofing. We were there for an organised dinner. The staff were very helpful, the food was good and the drinks at the bar were not outrageously priced. They could have stocked a (Scottish) malt whisky, but otherwise there was plenty of choice. Overall, we had a great stay. We did not use the gym or pool, but they looked to be well maintained."

"I had a lovely stay at Carpenters Arms. The staff was very friendly and helpful, parking on-site was a good size, and the food was excellwnt. I had breakfast and dinner twice and was quite happy with all the meals and the service. The room was small but to be expected for the price, will definitely stay there again when I'm back in the Swindon area😁"
