"The property was clean and well equipped. The outside space, garden was nice to have. We stayed at Easter, so still a little chilly to sit out. Off road parking outside the property. Easy to access local shops, pubs, places to eat within walking distance. Owners were on hand if we needed anything. Would stay again."

"Another lovely stay in Forge Cottage. A perfect place for two! Cosy, warm and has everything we need. Couldn't be nearer to the Market place with shops and places to eat. Delicious meals at the King's Head, White Bear Inn, Johnny Bagdad's and Harry's Chippy Shirley and David are perfect hosts, easy to contact. We will be back in September."

"Spent a week at Badgers Holt and had an excellent time Was visiting with my wife and son Accommoation was first class and highly recommended. Town centre was just a short walk and provided all necessary services Many interesting walks from the property most notably along the River Ure Will hopefully return"

"Room was in good condition however it was a disabled room that was not advised on booking. There was an intermittent unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. Seeing the disabled room I immediately requested a room change but here was not much enthusiasm as we had a 2 night stay and was told the hotel was full the following night so not much they could do and on the first night there were currently no other made up rooms. Overall the staff at the bar and in the restaurant and around the hotel were very good however breakfast on Sunday morning left a lot to be desired in terms of service as anything cooked took an age to arrive and my wife after at least half an hour gave up on hers but it did arrive as we were leaving! The grounds and facilities are excellent. On departure I was clear to my complaint on the room, I was offered a token without any any investigation and offered access to speak with the deputy manager. I declined both and hoped it would have been dealt with differently as my point was not financial and being fobbed off with £50 and having to request the manager did not feel right. My intention was to convey disappointment with the room in the hope of investigation and recognition to a problem with some assurance it would not remain an issue for others. I left feeling no one really cared! "

"Stayed for 2 nights. 2 adults, 2 children and our dog. This place is a hidden gem in North Yorkshire. We had the most magical time. The Tree house and hut tub were pre heat for our arrival. Despite being very cold the little Tree house was so so cozy and remained cosy all night long after the fire had burnt out. There are multiple lights and fairy lights all round so it’s well Illuminated and you can swap the lights at reception daily for fully charged ones. There is plenty of wood at the end of each Tree house to keep fires stocked. You’ll never run out. The views, the grounds are just so picturesque, the trails to walk on are well kept and whole area is amazing. The residents room at reception has a free coffee machine and lots of games you can take to your TH. Also multiple charging options in there. There is just so much to like about this place. Our family didn’t want to leave. This is amazing for families but would also be really romantic for couples to get away. Don’t take my word for it get it booked you won’t regret it. Ps the sauna is lovely too."

"We really enjoyed our stay in Masham. The house is exactly as described in the listing and was just what we wanted. Would not have lost a star for cleanliness if the beakers in the bathroom and loo had been clean. Otherwise excellent. "
