"We liked the fact that we coukd walk directly to our terminal - no shuttle or taxi needed. The restaurant in the hotel was very good. Ask for a room facing the outside rather than the inside where the elevators are. We switched because the rooms facing inside are quite dark. taxibvfrom"

"The renovations to this property are tremendous - wonderful set of improvements for a well situated, higher end experience in Santa Monica for a correctly priced hotel. Valet service is top notch- also especially nice are the new jacuzzi and downstairs food convenience~ and of course the restaurant and bar upstairs remain distinct city assets. Well done-"

"First and foremost the Staff was very attentive to our needs whether we needed extra pillows, extra blankets, any info or recommendation on sight seeing or restaurants to eat at the staff was great. It was my wife and two 21 year old daughters staying at the Novatel for 5 nights for holiday from the States. . Rooms very clean. Hotel located in a good location. Not very touristy (which we like) but walkable to train station (about 20 minutes). Lots of restaurants to choose from on the walk toward train station. Grocery store across the street 2minute walk. "
