The hotel boasts unique and stylish design elements. However, it's unfortunate that it tends to be noisy. Surprisingly, there wasn't even a bottle of water provided, not even in the fridge...that was empty!

Hotel is quirky but nice, we were originally given a room with a strong odour but this was replaced very quickly with another room once we objected. Pros - very very convenient to Oxford street etc, nice and clean, good pricing Cons - tight parking and toilets that don’t seem to work properly. Would stay here again for sure

Checking in was great. Super helpful, got us in early. In the room, comforter on the bed was dirty. Towels weren’t cleaned properly. Room itself looked nothing like the pictures. Way smaller, strange setup. Check out, the older guy behind the desk was completely ignorant and wasn’t paying attention to anything. Had to wait for someone else to come back to the desk and help us as he was too busy doing nothing. Might be best to have someone on a front desk that will actually acknowledge people, instead of sitting there worried about anything else but doing his job. Left our carry on bags for a couple of hours. Brand new bag ended up damaged and with scuff marks over it. 2 contents in the bag broken as well. No idea what they actually did with it, but I’ve never experienced anything like it at a hotel. Absolutely pathetic from them.

The hotel itself was really nice, I can't complain. The only thing I was annoyed about was the parking. I had read reviews that it was a low clearance, that wasn't an issue, but the parking was so hard to navigate in and around, it is so tight / narrow going down the ramp (Sedans and SUV drivers be prepared) Small cars only!

Very affordable in a great location. Walking distance to darling harbour, SCG and funky dining places in Surry Hills. Staff were very friendly and communication was great. Place was clean and tidy. Not much privacy in the bathroom. I didn’t mind sharing with my long term partner, however it definitely would have been a bit uncomfortable on a first date/night away though.

I enjoyed my stay at ADGE as it was within walking distance to St Vincents Private Hospital where my husband was admitted.the room was adequate for my needs and the bed was comfortable. The decor was cheery and uplifting. I would have no hesitation staying there again.

But it does not mean luxury. - No compensational water - No hair dryer - The room is very dusty because even though the floor is carpet, they don’t vacuumed clean. - if you take a shower, the entire bathroom will be wet (construction or design issues) so you will need to wear shoes to go into the bathroom after taking shower. - smell isn’t nice but you will probably not care after staying in the room for more than one hour.

Funky and comfy stay in Surry Hills
The Adge is a funky hotel close to everything. The city, Surry Hills, buses and trams. The room wasn't enormous but it was perfect for our 3 nights. The bed was terrific. The staff were so nice and there's a great Korean cafe downstairs. Best breakfast in ages.

A great place to stay
Excellent location, reasonable size rooms that are very quiet, a very good casual restaurant and coffee shop in the lobby. Cool chill music in the common area! The checkout time of 10:30am is a bit early but I’d definitely stay again.

Great location and gorgeous, comfortable rooms; truly loved the modern eclectic feel. Just a short stroll to everything Oxford Street has to offer - or if that’s still too far for a coffee, start your day off with something from the café at the entrance to the building.
