The provision of tea, coffee and sugar plus soap and shampoo was really above anything we have had provided on previous holidays. "A beautiful spot with plenty of room for us. The two large reception rooms were ideal. And the large kitchen came in handy with a group of our size. The pool was clean and warm. And we made good use of that. We had great communication with the host who couldn't do enough for us. There is so much around the area to see and do. That this location is really good. My nephew enjoyed fishing on the river."

"We stayed in Weir House as our annual get together for 5 old friends. The owner was really accomodating and we were able to settle in earlier than expected. The house was beautifuuly equipped with everything we needed and more. The outside patio overlooking the river was delightful in the sun. The bedrooms were light and bright and there were more than enough bathrooms for 5 females. We ate in the Saracens Head and found everyone to be really friendly . Highly recommend Weir House."

"Secluded and tranquil location.Beds were very comfortable Local walks on the doorstep so we didn’t need to use the car after parking up. Nice decked area for relaxing after a long walk.Kitchen had everything we needed. 2 pubs within walking distance, both serving lovely food. We used the manned ferry to cross on a couple of occasions which was fun and a very quick way to get to the pub on the other side of the river (Saracens Head). We did also enjoy the scenic walk along the river and across the bridge which is just under 3 miles.Overall a great cottage for a short break in a beautiful location."
