Riversdale Lodge is set in the heart of Symonds Yat overlooking the River Wye.
10/10 Excellent
"A beautiful spot with plenty of room for us. The two large reception rooms were ideal. And the large kitchen came in handy with a group of our size. The pool was clean and warm. And we made good use of that. We had great communication with the host who couldn't do enough for us. There is so much around the area to see and do. That this location is really good. My nephew enjoyed fishing on the river."

"We stayed in Weir House as our annual get together for 5 old friends. The owner was really accomodating and we were able to settle in earlier than expected. The house was beautifuuly equipped with everything we needed and more. The outside patio overlooking the river was delightful in the sun. The bedrooms were light and bright and there were more than enough bathrooms for 5 females. We ate in the Saracens Head and found everyone to be really friendly . Highly recommend Weir House."

"The Saracens is an excellent & intergral assett to the Symonds Yat area. Clean, tidy, & atmospheric, with a beautiful outlook of the Yat gorge & river wye. The food was exlempary, ( although the belly pork/ italian dish, dish, was interesting), 😋🤔but very tasty"

"Great house with a secure garden for dogs. Amazing to have 2 parking spaces available. Comfy bed and well facilitated kitchen. Be mindful that dogs are not allowed upstairs. However, water, poo bags, blankets, and cooling mat were provided which were lovely touches. Also the location is in Cinderford not Goodrich as placed on hotels.com (busier area)."

"Secluded and tranquil location.Beds were very comfortable Local walks on the doorstep so we didn’t need to use the car after parking up. Nice decked area for relaxing after a long walk.Kitchen had everything we needed. 2 pubs within walking distance, both serving lovely food. We used the manned ferry to cross on a couple of occasions which was fun and a very quick way to get to the pub on the other side of the river (Saracens Head). We did also enjoy the scenic walk along the river and across the bridge which is just under 3 miles.Overall a great cottage for a short break in a beautiful location."

"The cottage was perfect for a small family. The views across the walled garden were glorious.We felt at home and were warmly welcomed by the host. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was peaceful and quiet and had very comfortable beds. One of the best places we have stayed. "
