"Visited this hotel three different times now and three different owners, Everything was clean, staff amazing only let down from a visitors side is I would have liked to have booked the breakfast for myself and my family who I was in the village to visit but this is not allowed, which meant we all had to go elsewhere. But other than this I would definitely stay again."

"The house is spacious and had everything we needed. There is a view of the countryside from the large windows in the sitting area. It is handy for exploring the surrounding countryside. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Excellent spacious open plan living space, inside and out, ideal for family gatherings. We were a group of two families with grown up children, their partners and children. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery and importantly glassware for large gatherings. The bedrooms are generous with adequate number of bathrooms and two en-suite. The games annexe and cinema room was an added bonus - we had great fun having pool and darts (maybe take your own darts) tournaments over the weekend for everyone to take part or heckle from the sidelines. Maybe better lighting between the main accommodation and annex would improve the walk between the two at night. We took our own food and drinks as the nearest big supermarket is a bit away. There is a shop nearby in Newmachar (5 min drive) that you can get almost everything you’ve forgotten anything. A couple of takeaways too. Highly recommend this property."

"Just wow.Perfect on every level.Location amazing lovely to just sit outside watch the waves and hear and see nothing but nature. But close enough to pop to the local shop/restaurants/pubs/attractions.Internally from furnishings to equipment everything you could need was there.Communication with the hosts was brilliant too.We were truly blessed with the weather, which enabled us to enjoy the beach location every day.First stay in Scotland, we will return here"

"Booked a twin and double room. Rooms clean and well appointed with a communal kitchen area for use by guests. Did not use breakfast service as we left in the morning before the hotel staff had arrived. Only small complaint was that the staff were unable to open the connecting door between the 2 rooms which would have made things a lot easier. "
