A traditional banca boat was our method of transport across Lake Taal to get to Taal Volcano #NationalPark.
It may look like a steady journey but the water was no where near this calm as the banca hit down on the waves we got soaked, huddled down between the wooden bench seats trying to stay warm.
We negotiated a deal with a local boatman to take us across to the volcano, there are more organised tours that run earlier in the day, we arrived mid afternoon which was great to see the sunset from the volcano crater, not so great to get stuck n the dark with no transport to the top of the valley! #adventure #Waterlust

"This property is truly stunning. Situated in front of Taal Volcano , early mornings in Nuuk is breathtaking. The serenity of Nuuk makes this place so memorable. The staff provided excellent service, they were attentive to our needs that make our stay super comfortable. Let’s talk about the food ! If you are looking for Filipino fare this is not the place BUT if you are looking for dishes that will blow your taste buds away this is the place!! We will dream of the slow braised lamb shank, stuffed chicken wings, fish and the sticky glazed chicken for days to come. Go to Nuuk, you won’t regret it."
