"Unfortunately of all the places we went in Tokyo, the staff at the Gracery were the only Japanese people we met that were not friendly! Every time we dealt with them we felt we were inconveniencing them. A shame because the location was great."

"Staff were helpful, and the check-in/check-out process is seamless for overseas travelers. The room was quite compact, though that was to be expected. Ideal and affordable spot to return to rest. It would have been useful to have an area to access a microwave other than the basement level. Being on the 17th floor made it a bit inconvenient to heat/reheat meals."

"A beautiful hotel. My room was large, comfortable and very relaxing. However, I hated the neighborhood. It’s a sterile neighborhood of primarily government offices. And just trying to find the entrance to the subway was exhausting. Close by is the Shinjuku station which is one of the most complicated train stations in the world. It is in Shinjuku, which is considered the nightlife district of Tokyo. But the nightlife district of Shinjuku is nowhere near this hotel. I ended up taking taxis and Ubers almost everywhere. My largest complaint was that the restaurants were extremely expensive. They did not seem to have one simple medium to medium low price restaurant. If you walk some distance you can find lower price Japanese restaurants including a remarkably good Japanese Denny’s! No grand slams. Good hearty Japanese food. But I have zero complaints about my room and the service from the staff. By the way, the hotel is gigantic."

"Excellent location! The hotel is only about a 5-minute walk from two major subway stations, making it very convenient for getting around Tokyo. There’s a 7-Eleven right across from the lobby, a FamilyMart nearby, and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The room was okay, but most importantly, it was clean and comfortable. Getting to Narita Airport was also very convenient. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again!"

"The hotel location is very convenient to public transportation and access to the lively Shinjuku area. The rooms, like most in Japan, are very small, maybe 15x12. The bathroom does have a full tub/shower and the entire room was very clean."

"I still like the place and it is still my go to. But the prices went up… and the rooms remained the same. I also didn’t get the same room as usual and I had no view of the tower. First time I get a room without the view and that changes everything."

"Excellent hotel and service. I had a 3 week stay. It was always a pleasure to comeback to the hotel after a long day. My room was cosy, modern and clean. Every couple of days, staff would replace bedsheets and supply fresh towels. It was well air conditioned, which was easy to use. Remote panels for it and light control, placed on the headboard of the bed. The bed mattress was kind of on the firmer side but I was comfortable and never struggled to sleep. Wi-fi connection speed was fast and never dropped connection. Staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. I used the laundry service and was very impressed with how my clothes were returned to me. Packaged, clean and ironed. Would recommend if you are in for a long stay and travelling light. The day I was to leave, my check out was 11:00, my flight 12hrs later. They securely stored my luggage (free of charge) all day. Staff will also arrange a taxi for you, which arrived within minutes. Ideally located. You are a couple minutes walk from the train station. The street the hotel is located on is busy with plenty surrounding the area (restaurants, cafe's, convivence stores). But it is still quieter than the hive of activity that is also only a couple minutes walk away. Home comforts? look for the "HUB" pubs. You'll understand when you arrive. Hotel - Smoking area on 2F. The only thing I would change; I would of liked the hotel bar to be open later than what it was. Overall, I loved it. Highly recommended."
