Service was incredibly friendly, gracious and professional. Property itself is beautiful in a great location in the center of town. We stayed in a junior suite and it was beautiful and immaculate. Hotel has a great rooftop bar as well.

We loved this hotel. It is very quiet and serene with an amazing location. The roof top bar has an amazing view of Taormina. We stayed at this hotel and the Four Season in Taormina and enjoyed each stay equally. The staff here was amazing. We are not big breakfast eaters but enjoyed the pastries, fruit and coffee. Dinners were amazing so much so that my son insisted that we eat there most nights. Our room was very spacious and clean. Would definitely return!

Beautiful hotel close to the main area. The star to this property is the hotel staff from the concierge, to front desk and to the fabulous breakfast staff in the am. We had arrived late and the dining options were closing and kept the restaurant open for us and offered us a traditional Sicilian meal! First of many fabulous meals here. The roof top was great - we enjoyed a drink every night before dinner. A perfect stay for our week in Sicily!

The most incredible hotel in Taormina. I have stayed in the other two and the Palazzo Vecchio is by far the best. It is situated beautifully above and set back from the main promenade and has the finest rooftop terrace I have experienced. The staff - especially the restaurant were wonderfully accommodating. Our room was gorgeous, large and incredibly well-furnished. Bravo!

We never received our luggage and ALL front desk staff tried repeatedly to phone the airport to get updates on our luggage. They were beyond helpful. The breakfast was wonderful with many made to order options in a beautiful plant filled solarium. The roof top bar was quite a highlight with DJ music at just the right level to allow conversation. Loved the location just steps up but away from Corso Umberto.

The hotel is indeed an old palace. It is, in fact, a historical palace smack in the center of Taormina, with great views of both Vesuvio and the sea, and directly accessing the pedestrian-only area of the town. Also, it is indeed old... with wooden floors, classic decor, vintage furniture, etc. Our room (a junior suite) was spacios and well appointed, with a great view, and a very comfortable bed. The real star of the show, however, is the staff. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, and one could really tell that they cared--what a difference from the faceless, by-the-book staff of major chains. Also worthy of note is the restaurant. We visited off-season, so some of the more famous restaurants were closed, but the hotel restaurant was a gem, both in terms of cuisine and service. All in all, highly recommended.

We stayed for one night and it’s the most perfect location if you don’t have a long time in Taormina. The check in was very efficient and they called us beforehand to make sure our driver knew directions - when we arrived there was someone waiting for us before the road to the hotel (as its pedestrian only) they took our luggage and it was a premium service. Antonio and Salvatore checked us in and Antonio gave us a wonderful tour of the building and he was so friendly Abdulla passionate about the hotel - would recommend the hotel 10/10 Side note - there is a bit of noise so if you are sensitive to this bring earplugs

Stunning palazzo with historic charm and incredible views of the sea and the Etna. Valet parking was available and easy to access as the palazzo is located in the pedestrian area. We booked an executive junior suite for family of 3, the sofa bed is small/twin size, which was a little surprising to me but the view made up for it. We only had breakfast in the restaurant which looked beautiful but we usually prefer to walk around and try something outside of the hotels.

I'm spoiled. More pricy than I usually spend but so well worth it! Our rooms were lovely (Hotel graciously accommodated a room mix-up.) Little extras here and there. Breakfast was lovely, and the sky bar commanded fantastic view of Mt Etna. Lovely staff (even sent us off to the airport at 4 in the morning with fresh strawberries and croissants.) Hotel is right in the heart of charming Taormina.

What a beautiful boutique hotel

Fantastic stay at Palazzo Vecchio. The personnel was attentive, the facilities and the room were spotless and the rooftop bar has by far the best view of the town, the sea and Etna. On some nights they also have a DJ. We did not try the restaurant for dinner but it looked atmospheric at night. If you can, try to book a room with sea view. We arrived by car and they had valet parking service which made life easy.

The staff was exceptional. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The hotel is gorgeous and our suite had a stunning view of the Ionian Sea. The mattress was wonderfully comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. I loved seeing Andrea every morning. However, I would skip the restaurant, it was disappointing. There are many other great restaurants in Taormina. I highly recommend the Palazzo Vecchio. Truly terrific!

Great experience all around. Welcoming friendly staff that were always happy to assist with any needs. Rooftop bar a must. Only complaint is the free standing tub / shower situation. Not comfortable to use and it flooded the bathroom every time since there is no curtain or proper drainage.
