During colonial times, the tower was the bell tower of the Convento de la Encarnación (Incarnation Convent) and the arch was one of the entrances to the city.
Take photos of the pink-and-peach façade of this picturesque tower and notice its intricate white details. Marvel at its quite unusual square shape and its wooden octagonal vault with an eight-pointed star.
Next to the tower find the Templo del Carmen, a 16th-century church that was dedicated to San Sebastián Mártir (Saint Sebastian Martyr).
