Top The Apex Hotel Reviews
Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice , best in town."
The Mill Hotel
8/10 Good
"A very well located Hotel. We paid extra for a room with a view, unfortunately this was on the 4th. floor, and for 80 year olds' 55 stairs and no lift was to say the least........testing."
The Jockey Club Rooms
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in a newly renovated room which was very spacious, had very good wardrobe space and draws. The bathroom was clean and had very lovely toiletries. The shower was really excellent. Cooked breakfast was exceptional both the vegetarian and non vegetarian and there was a good selection of non cooked food. The coffee was very good. We had the opportunity to have drinks in the drawing room which was relaxing after a long day The building and ambiance of the place was very good it was a pleasure to stay there"
All Saints Resort
10/10 Excellent
"The staff was wonderful."
The Three Blackbirds
8/10 Good
"Lovely place to stay near Newmarket, I had booked it because it offered rooms with baths. I was travelling with work and knew I wanted an early night and a bath. Hotels.com listed the available room as having the option of a bath so i requested it. To be fair the hotel never confirmed the request and i forgot to follow up. When i arrived in the afternoon I was given a room with a shower only , I asked if it was possible to change but unfortunately it wasn’t. Everything else about the stay was perfect, a couple of minor maintenance issues in the bathroom (dirty grout and mirror light not working) but otherwise spotless, comfy bed, quiet and staff couldn’t have been nicer. Food was good. I was disappointed that it wasn’t possible to have a bath in the room and would have booked somewhere else if I had known in advance. Might be a good idea to modify the hotels.com listing."
Hintlesham Hall Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful grounds, super friendly and helpful staff and amazing breakfast included"
Best Western Heath Court Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Really nice hotel at the heart of Newmarket, friendly staff, free car parking, clean & comfortable rooms with a very enjoyable breakfast, there was nothing not to like"
The Angel Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We only spent one night but loved the hotel. The location is great. Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops a few minutes walk away and a beautiful park opposite. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Lots of seating in the lounge. On arrival by car, you hand over your key and your car is parked and luggage delivered to your room which is a nice touch. Would highly recommend"
Best Western Priory Hotel
8/10 Good
"A basic hotel set in lovely, peaceful grounds. The rooms could do with updating, but for a three-star hotel, they were as expected. I didn’t book breakfast, and unfortunately, the Sunday roast didn’t look very appealing. I stayed for four nights while visiting family, and the location was quiet and pleasant. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. However, housekeeping didn’t clean our room once during our stay. When we asked for it to be cleaned, the cleaner said she would, but instead left someone else’s dirty cups in our room, which was disappointing. Overall, I would stay again, mainly because it is the closest hotel to where my family lives."
