"The whole experience was great! The house was exactly as described and it was immaculate. We had paid to have our dog there but changed plans and the fee was refunded right away. There was an electrical outage (due to work being performed in the area) and our hosts checked in on us right away (I don’t even know how they knew!) It was just as easy as possible."

"A great place to stay. A very nice house with a reasonable price. The hosts were always available to answer questions quickly. It's pet friendly and very clean. The hosts did not forget anything . Everything was already there to accommodate us. I highly recommend this house and these hosts. 5 stars."

"We stayed at Spin 1 over Labor Day Week and had a wonderful vacation. The property is truly beautiful and has so much to offer. The property had the quintessential OBX feel and perfectly captured the coastal charm of the Outer Banks. It felt "cozier" than other houses we've stayed at and we felt right at home. The walk to the beach is a breeze - less than a 5 minute walk. We brought our kids bikes and they rode to the beach, there is a bike rack at the beach access. The gated community is very small, and the private beach access was very quiet - we were the only ones at the beach every day. The pool was wonderful for our kids, and the 1 acre property was perfect for our dogs (an added bonus that the property was pet friendly!). We can't wait to stay here again!"

"We rented Blue Crab Cottage for our first family vacation with our 7 month old. The house was great, with a great downstairs area. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with utensils, pots and pans, and cooking gadgets. All the bedrooms are spacious and quiet. We spent a lot of time in the fenced in pool area, which was a perfect size for our family. For those traveling with more people, it may be on the smaller side, but the community also has pools that are easily accessible. The location of the house is also awesome. You are definitely within walking distance to a few restaurants, coffee shops, seafood market and wine bar! There is a trolley stop close to the house to get to the beach, but it also wouldn’t be a bad walk if you have a beach wagon for supplies.This is a great house if you are looking for something a little more tucked away, but with easy access to shopping and all the amenities the community offers."

"The house was beautiful, with a great view out over the water, especially at sunset.The house was clean and well kept, with plenty of space to hang out and rest. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great, and we had no complaints.We cooked some meals and we found the kitchen well stocked with cookware and with plenty of plates and utensils. The host was quick to respond when we had questions, and was able to help with everything we needed, even sending someone over to address an issue we had.We had a wonderful time at the house, and would highly recommend it,"

"This was a great house! Perfect for our family of 5 (including 3 teenagers). The house had a great layout with two screened porches, one with a hammock and swinging love seat overlooking the pool and another overlooking the Sound and the sunset. The house was well equipped with beach chairs, games, and a ping pong table. The trolley stop at the end of the driveway was incredibly convenient, The added bonus was being walking distance to the Duck Donuts for fresh, hot donuts in the morning! We are looking to returning again next year!"
