The room was clean, staff was friendly. Only downside is there is no elevator, and no fridge or microwave to keep food was desired temperature. Location is ideal.
The most charming hotel we have ever booked! Fabulous location on a pedestrian street & a canal, next to a windmill. Bridges on both sides. Fantastic breakfast with more food than we could eat. Walkable to lots of museums, shops, restaurants. We did not want to leave! 10 stars!
Breakfast was a real treat! And the hotel was tasteful decorated with interesting historic details. it created a lovely atmosphere. I feel lucky to have stayed there!
Outstanding boutique hotel with very welcoming staff, cute rooms with plenty of space, lovely cafe, and literally close to everything! I’m definitely staying there again.zz
Fabulous place to spend a night or nights in Leiden. Super friendly staff and eager to help. Conveniently located near multiple restaurants and cafes, and idyllic setting. Highly recommended
Great hotel in a fantastic location for a business trip to Leiden. Very attentive staff, lovely room and unique breakfast so I would definitely stay again.
Large open room, comfortable bed, and nice shower. Attentive staff. Dining area available during the day for coffee or light snacks, and lunch. Maybe 5-10 min walk to the train station for easy day trips, like to Delft or Den Haag. Several good cafes & restaurants nearby. Enjoyed the stay and visit to Leiden.
This hotel was absolutely fantastic. The building was charming, the staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful, and the area is so cute right next to the downtown shopping and historical areas. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area and would definitely come back to stay here.
An overall fabulous experience. The hotel is quaint and charming with a mid century modern/organic vibe. The staff is delightful. The restaurant is on site and breakfast was bountiful and delicious. I would stay there 1000 times over
This is a lovely hotel located in a spot that is easily walkable to both the train station and the central area. The hotel has a great atmosphere because it is housed in a historic building and has been smartly decorated. Breakfast was good as well. I really enjoyed my stay here and would stay again.
Wonderful staff, unique modernization of a historic building. Breakfast was amazing. Close to Leiden University, canals, cafés, shops... beautiful pre-war architecture along canals and streets.
