"A great place, close to Leiden station, which is also a super lovely place to visit, or even stay when hoping to also see Amsterdam. A modern hotel close to many great restaurants - some with worthy specials (try Parkhuis!) and interesting sights to see. Would totally recommend!"

Great location in the very centre of Leiden. Three floor steep climb to a duplex with the bedroom up one more floor, the bathroom on the other floor. You want to be in good shape and not need to rush to use the loo during the night.
The view from the top floor bedroom is worth the effort.

The hotel was excellent with friendly staff and a good breakfast with a nice selection on the buffet and a good selection by ordering, the 1 coffee machine was the only draw back as it created waiting time. There is a nice bar and restaurant in the hotel and a great location.
The parking station below the hotel is very convenient however is expensive as there is no discount. I would stay here again

We stayed at Hampshire Hotel for 1 night and we were thoroughly unhappy with that hotel. From the urine smell in hallways to the terrible bed, no refrigerator in room, small room with 1 small square pillow, those are just a few of my complaints of that hotel. Read my review on that hotel.
The WestCord is an amazing hotel, great look, modern interior, friendly staff, room with refrigerator, free parking, the list goes on. This is a true 4 star hotel worth staying at and I am sorry I didn't book...
