"We have stayed at Leonardo twice waiting for cruises to come into Port so it is very convenient, however during both stays we were shoveled around to different rooms due to one problem or another. The hotel, no matter how convenient to the port will no longer be our hotel of choice when in Southampton. The maintenance has been deferred too long and the bathrooms are unfriendly to older people. Getting in and out of the bathtub is difficult and dangerous. Their staff is great, breakfast tasty, but the hotel has seen its better days."

"The only reason why this property got a two star rating was that the rooms were incredibly clean and the location was very good to restaurants and nightlife. However, I understood that there was no elevator however, nowhere was there any indication that you could be going up 2 1/2 flights of stairs with heavy luggage in Janeiro stairways and some without railings which was incredibly dangerous. I’m not sure how this receives an 8.7 rating because out of the three people that checked in the same day we did we were all very upset at the fact that none of this was explained in the description or we would not have booked."
