"This was a great place to stay. The room was simple but clean and had everything I needed for my two night stay. There is no AC, but it was perfect with the windows open during the day. It's a little bit of a walk from the main area that most people would want to explore, but the bus comes right outside, so it's easy! I'd stay here again :) "
"Loved the hotel and room and the staff were amazing. Walkable to everywhere and loads of food options nearby. The reception staff were great, would 100% stay again. Thank you for a great trip to Oxford. "
"This is the best boutique hotel in which i have ever stayed. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms well appointed. Lovely to be adjacent to the Thames. Unbeatable!"

10/10 Excellent
"A bit of a walk from city centre. The size of the room is decent and very clean. However, there is smell coming from the bathroom when coming in. It was very clean though. Luckily we can open the windows, doesn’t feel claustrophobic. A bit of a noise from the road and buses, but it was nice looking outside rather than having a window looking at a wall of the next building. I had a good sleep.
A big tv and a portable fan/heater provided. "
"We stopped off on our way home north from Cornwall. Perfect place for the family. Staff were exceptional, the room and room and a breakfast to die for! 5🌟"
"Wonderful stay! Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by Joshua at the front desk who checked us in early, gave us a tourist map, and offered excellent recommendations for sightseeing, shopping, and eating. The room was clean and comfortable. Two small bottles of water were provided daily. The hotel is located on a quiet stree and a short walk from the railway station, Westgate shopping centre, Oxford University buildings and restaurants galore. Perfect base for exploring Oxford!"
"A great hotel in Oxford. Perfect location, with easy walking distance to all the key sites in Oxford. The rooms were really comfortable and updated. The staff was incredibly helpful with recommendations, and they had a reserved parking spot behind the hotel, which made it extremely convenient. Plus the restaurant at the hotel was excellent. Highly recommended."
"We arrived at midday & our room & parking space was available at no extra cost which was greatly appreciated. A very short walk took us into the Centre. The room was lovely, bed extra comfortable so had a great night sleep following a busy sightseeing afternoon & evening. We ate at The Cafe both in the evening & again for breakfast (a full & delicious English). Will definitely stay here again when visiting Oxford."
"I tried 3 different emails & on hold for 15 minutes to try to book parking before arriving and did not get a response. I phoned again on the morning we were due to arrive & was finally able to book parking. It is valet parking as the hotel is in the city centre, £48 a night but we thought the best option.
The hotel itself was beautiful. Our room was well equipped with tea, coffee machine, air-con & fridge. I requested a room with bath which was honoured. The bed was a good size although it felt a little like a water bed if the other person moved! Pillows were big & comfortable. Lovely decor.
We had drinks in the Morse Bar & were served by a lovely gentleman in a suit whose name we didn’t get but he was great. There is limited seating in the bar but there is another bar in the restaurant with bar stools at the bar.
I had a massage in the spa which was much appreciated and well done.
We were greeted warmly by all staff that we encountered.
Apart from the email/parking issue we would recommend. "
