"I stay in around 100 places each year for work and this was bad.
Poor quality fittings and fixtures vey well used. No soap, shower door didn’t close, toilet on some kind of strange plinth. Laminate falling to bits. No Freeview or terrestrial tv, streaming only but WiFi is so bad it doesn’t work at peak times 2 mattresses on bed bottom one very grubby
I think it’s a converted garage.
May suit someone with low standards I ended up leaving after 2 nights stayed last night elsewhere "

"Don't usually do reviews however, happy to do so for the Cromwell Arms. Impressed with the design of the room and how well laid it was. Complimentary water, coffee, biscuits, fresh milk and a bottle of beer provided. Thanks for acknowledging partner's birthday - card appreciated. Although the room fronted a busy road, the double glazing was very effective. Air con also worked well. Food and drink were good and took advantage of the fixed price evening meal - well priced and beautifully cooked. Breakfast was cooked to order and very tasty. All the staff we met were friendly (thanks Tom) and helpful. Pleased we booked and would return if back in the area."
"We really enjoyed our stay. It was quiet dispite having the M27 right outside. The room was comfortable & clean, the shower was lovely. Helpful & friendly at check in.
The plug socket which the hair dryer goes in to needs looking at, the plug doesn't stay in."
"Lovely little Hotel right in the center of Romsey. Parking is Free in Council Parks from 4pm until 8-30am.
Good food in Restaurant for evening meal and also for Breakfast.
I would advise people to be careful on the Main stairs as it is an old building and these need to be taken with care.

Malcolm meet us as hosts were out, what a fantastic man, so friendly and funny and even offered to taxi us to our party as no taxis available. Great one night stay, Graham and Kay are excellent hosts , breakfast was fantastic .cheap local parking a bonus .
