"Valet's were fantastic! Check-in went smooth. Room was nothing extravagant but clean. Had an issue that needed maintenance. Front desk young man was not very well practiced in customer service. Probably should be washing dishes somewhere instead of the front desk. Maintenance man was extremely helpful and considerate. Complementary coffee each morning was great!"

"This is a sad one to write. What a magnificent place, the rooms, the rooftop bar, the clean reception area. Only the staff let it down on this occasion. Not friendly at all on reception or at the bar, in fact only three stood out and one of those was exceptional! Melinna the trainee, yeah trainee, was the only member of bar staff who was buzzing, energetic and full of charisma. When I walked in, the older staff didn’t even greet me, which was the same at the reception and very unusual for the States. Melinna made up for it. Scrap her bar role, make her the hotel manager, your seniors could learn a lot from her. Second was Ryan, young lad at the bar, also a delight and finally one of the housekeeping staff was friendly. This hotel doesn’t have it all, it doesn’t have a pool or an extensive list of activities, but it’s a gem and needs more staff who want to be there. We’ve all been in hospitality and personality goes a long way! I would 100% stay again, and hope that next time I’m there, the young ones have been asked to teach the older ones some lessons in customer service and engagement!"

"At 2:30am Monday morning, someone tried to come in our room. Opened the door and rattled the handle. Thankfully we had the security latch on. Five minutes later, tried again. I called the front desk, they said it was the security because someone had reported a loud noise. No one ever addressed who they were at the door. That morning we stopped at front desk and asked some questions. They claimed their system showed that room was vacant and had sent them to check! At 2:30 AM??!!! However, the hotel itself was very nice and clean. The bed was comfortable."
