Top Thirsk Hotel Reviews
The Queens Hotel & Victoria Cloisters
10/10 Excellent
"The location was lovely against the river the restaurant was good a day the breakfast first class"
White Hart Hotel & Apartments
8/10 Good
"Nice enough hotel with nicely decorated communal areas and a great bar, the breakfast was very nice, my main issue was the room was very dated, with bathroom tiles falling off the wall, a slow draining sink and the shower head was very low down, Room 302 I also think the car parking charge for every hour after 14:00 on the day of departure a bit poor"
The Milner York

"The historical building, staff, location"
Malmaison York

"We had a very nice room looking at Yorkminster. Really comfy bed and good night’s sleep. Everything necessary in the room. Would go again!"
Burn Hall Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"A lovely stay here, brilliant staff, so helpful. Place lovely and clean with everything we needed. The fact we could order food to our room, delivered promptly and by a cheerful member of staff made it all the better after an emotional and long day at a funeral we had travelled up for"
Delta Hotels by Marriott York
8/10 Good
"Lovely very clean room with everything you would expect, helpful staff at check in, great choices at breakfast, english, continental, cereals, fruit all fresh. Parking bit hit miss dependent upon how booked hotel is but usually clears early evening. Very handy for trips into York , handy bus stop right outside with great services."
The Golden Fleece Hotel, Thirsk, North Yorkshire
10/10 Excellent
"This was the perfect place to call home for the week we stayed and explored Yorkshire. Excellent food, perfect location, cozy. The staff were lovely. AND, it was Alf Wight’s (James Herriott’s) favorite spot in Thirsk. We couldn’t have liked it better!"
Cairn Hotel
8/10 Good
"Hi good comfortable stay though the curtain in the room (145) is almost completely jammed and the pelmet is hanging down on the right hand side. This needs attending to as it keeps the room dark and comfortable to sleep in. parking suggests guests are not the only ones using it, on arrival tea time car park was jammed later much clearer. Breakfast was good staff attentive and helpful"
The Grand, York

Weird though no table and chairs to eat in room ( plenty of room for one) Sofa and 2 chairs not sure why for 2 guests. Tv sound was very poor needs an upgrade Overall great would stay again.
