"Big lover of the Hampton by Hilton brand as they always look the same and deliver the same... Sadly not York. This Hotel is nothing like the Hampton brand. Good Hotel, just not Hampton and it was that, what we expected. In case the Hotel reads this: just go in room 217 and tell me how far down in the past you should have changed the mattress! Completely layed through from years of using. At 4:45 in the morning hammering for 45 min. As I complained about that in the morning: noone ever came back to me with an apology or reason for this early noise... York is a great place and the Hotel well located. But it's not the typical Hampton... Just a normal average Hotel"
Delta Hotels by Marriott York

"A near perfect stay at Delta hotels. The food, staff and pool were perfect. The only minus was the room’s bathroom which desperately needs an upgrade. Otherwise a great hotel next to the racecourse with a beautiful walk down the river into York. Would definitely come back."

"The hotel room we chose was a small double and it was quite small especially the bathroom, perfectly adequate for 1 night. The breakfast was excellent!! The evening meal (at The Pickled Sprout) was only just ok, the meals were all over salted and the fries were inedible for me. The quality of the food was good. For 4 of us we paid over £170 with a drink each and when some of was inedible its not good. Overall I would stop there again but choose somewhere else for dinner."

"Great hotel we stayed there at least 3 times, great value hotel, only a bit further out but not much an issue as you need to drive there to get anyway. I would definitely recommend it."

"Just back from an overnight stay in York Raddison Hotel. Had a lovely time. Hotel very clean, and well maintained, wonder if it has been recently refurbished? All staff were polite and helpful but especially the bar staff were very friendly and we enjoyed are time spent in the bar, thank you Jude. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice of good quality food. Would definatley stay again and recommend."

"Location perfect for Barbican concert. Check in a bit late but could drop bags so that helped. Easy walk into centre for shops and pubs."

"Very easy to find and plenty of easy parking available. Really warm welcome by the staff. The room was a front facing room which looked over the stray. Very clean, good size, great shower. Breakfast in the amazing restaurant was great. Not a massive choice of everything, but enough not to be left feeling short changed. We would definitely book here again and spend longer in the bar, and have an evening meal in the restaurant. Easy walk into town and very quiet on the night."
