"Dan was a great host and very attentive. He runs it as a b and b or you cane have the place to yourself. House was lovely, good amenities, clean and quiet. Lots of food basics provided free for use such as coffee, milk, butter; bread etc. Cosy lounge with log burner, lovely gardens and great location. Shame I was only staying for work as I would have liked to have stayed and relaxed there! Would definitely book again. Can’t fault the experience. Great place."

"The side door was broken to gain access to the property. Had to get the restaurant staff to let us out as we were locked in. Other than that very clean facilities.Shared bathroom was very clean."

"I would call this cheap and cheerful. The rooms are very basic. I stayed on a Friday and Saturday night. I had a twin on Friday night at the front and it was very noisy with people outside. On Saturday I had a double at the back which was quieter but the window opens to a yard with the kitchen fans and it was noisy and smelly with cooking fumes. This double was very small I can’t imagine two people in it. It was also in need of redecoration. The staff were very friendly, can’t fault that. The location was right in the middle of Ryde so very handy for everything. As I said cheap and cheerful!"

"The hotel is very strange and you have to check in online then you get given a code walk to your room and on the wall next to your room is a lockbox where you enter that code to get your key to get into the room all of that takes a very long time and it feels more like a Airbnb rental than an actual hotel. The bar has no drinks to sell and we soon found out in the town that the hotel has recently shut down and reopened under new ownership. My hunch would be the new owners have never run a hotel before."

"Such a warm, fun and friendly atmosphere, with a great bar/restaurant and personal service. The building has that old, coastal charm, an interesting history and a great location near the Red Funnel ferry. Enjoyed walking the city and taking the chain ferry to Osbourne House and the Needles. Would love to go back and spend more time there and would choose the same hotel."

"No air conditioning but there was a dyson fan and a heater. Room had a coffee machine, mini fridge, hairdryer and a handheld steamer. We stayed in a room overlooking the harbour and it was very quiet. You couldn't hear any noise from the pub next door. Room was modern and very clean. The bed was huge (king) and very comfortable. There were places nearby to get breakfast and is very close to a Sainsbury and M&S food (Apr26)."

"As it shows on the picture ,beautiful sea view, mesmerising every time, liads of dog walk areas, poo bins for us responsive dog walkers with poo bags, amazingly equiped holiday home, better than home? Warm, airy with high ceilings, and so much space. A hoover to keep those pesky walkd in/blown in leaves, had a great 4 days will certainly be back. "

"Beautiful property and really well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The only thing that would improve this property is more car parking."
