"Stinking Room wasn’t cleaned once. Bed sheets not changed "

"It was very clean, very close to the beach and had a lovely pool area. Restaurants and supermarket nearby. Reception staff friendly. Wifi did not work for me at all. I stayed half board as a solo traveller and I didn't find the staff at the buffet restaurant very friendly and felt a bit uncomfortable and in the way. Staff kept walking by to see if I was finished to clear my plate while I was eating and 2 nights they never took a drink order from me just took away the menu. It's a shame because that let down my overall experience and the irony is I only booked half board because I was alone as when I travel with people we usually go out to eat to try the local restaurants. Also the restaurant is massive so it's not like I was taking up space. "

"I particularly enjoyed the aqua aerobics in the pool each day at 12- the guys from the animation team were excellent- made them good fun. Reception staff were particularly helpful. Good selection of fresh food & the entertainment in the evenings was very good. "

"The cleanliness around the apartments, the pool, the bar and the restaurant was fantastic. The staff in all area's were friendly and polite, especially the bar. There was a great choice of food for breakfast in the morning, catering for all tastes and the apartments are well situated in a good place for walking into the old town or walking down to strip for the shops, bars and restaurants. Would we go back to Plus Fariones Apartments, most definitely..."

"We had a wonderful 5 night stay at the Riu Paraiso in Lanzarote. The hotel has a fantastic location, on the beach front and promomenade and just a 10-15 min stroll into the bustiling town of Puerto Del Carman. The hotel suits all, whether it be couples and families and wehter you want a quiet or action packed holiday - the hotel has two sections with the quieter area very much more catered for adults wanting to simply relax. The entertainment both day and night is of a good standard and we particularly enjoyed the vening where you could watch a vareity of shows in the main theatre or watch live music singers in the bar area. The staff and cleanliness i cannot fault at all, an exceptional service and we were very lucky to have a free upgrade to a premium room giving us a pool and wonderful sea view. We would definitely return."
