Everything feels new - solid wooden internal doors, downstairs wet room, spacious kitchen/diner, bi-fold doors to patio and garden...We were 4 couples and thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights. It's about a 10 min walk to the town. You need to cross the road to get to a path - as it's on a bend visibility isn't great so it can be a bit hairy - if you're planning on staying with kids you'll need to be extra careful. Overall I highly recommend this property."

"The apartment itself was immaculately clean and well decorated. We chose this property based on its location - close to a number of foodie pubs and other eateries. However, a) we were extremely disappointed with the area itself as we found many of the local retail businesses to be, not particularly clean with quite a few having dirty shopfronts and evidence of litter inside the premises. And b) the stairs from level 1 inside the apartment to the upper level are incredibly steep and difficult to negotiate when carrying any items. The kitchen area and shower/toilet are on level 1 which we felt was quite onerous when negotiating the sharp incline on the stairs, especially when getting up in the middle of the night to use the toilet facilities. Perhaps a property suited to the under 50's, we're 70."

"We loved everything about the carriage house, It was just as described, but what was harder to appreciate from the listing was just how peaceful and lovely the setting is. I’m not normally a hot tub person, but it was just great after a day exploring Cornwall. Communication and check in were great and our host couldn’t have been more helpful. One thing to note: the little road leading to the carriage house is quite rutted from farm equipment, so having an SUV or higher suspension is advised. It worked fine for our compact SUV, but with a low-slung car, it might be tricky. I’d love to return some day for more good, local hiking along the cliffs, ideally not during the height of summer holidays, when traffic and crowds at popular places can be a bit much!"

"Lovely cottage, well located in Bolingey, close to Perranporth Beach, Very comfortable beds and well-equipped for guests. A couple of positive points worth noting that weren’t emphasised in the listing: the bathroom has a shower and there’s off-street parking space for up to two cars in tandem. This is particularly convenient given the alternative would be parking on the narrow road. Dog-friendly owners and great outside space for your four-legged friend. Do be aware that the garden is not enclosed if your dog likes to wander off. There are very nice trails nearby (Saints Trail) to walk down to Perranporth or up to Cocks (!), or a loop back around to Bolingey. The nearest shopping is a CoOp in Perranporth (1 of 2 in town) open 7 days until 10pm while we were there in August, or there are a variety of larger options in Truro, 20 min drive away."
