"The cottage was excellent, small (which is what we wanted) but very well appointed - especially the kitchen. It was clean and comfortable and the owners were on hand and very obliging. The outside area was gated, very important to keep our dog from straying or becoming a nuisance to others. We took advantage of the information provided on restaurants and places to visit and found the JFK Arboretum and beaches on the Hook peninsula just right for the dog. "This house is beautiful and immaculate and the owner had thought of everything for all ages from high chairs and travel cots to a shower seat in the walk-in shower. The location was ideal to so many places. The owner is lovely and was quick to resolve any issues. Unfortunately the house itself seems to be the only part of the property that has been renovated and what will be a lovely fairy garden, replete with waterfalls, was marred by construction rubbish. "Three generations of our family gathered for 4 days at Annamult House. It could not have been a better house for us to enjoy Christmas. We cooked delicious meals in a very-well equipped kitchen, set a beautiful table for an elegant Christmas dinner for 15, played games in the large comfortable parlor, went on beautiful country walks and kept 3 open fires burning to make it cozy.
